Crystal Inn Hotel & Suites - Midvalley

The bed was really good! The room was big and comfortable. Everything you might need during your stay was present: refrigerator, microwave, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, etc. The staff was really helpful and answered all of our questions.

Make sure to bring earplugs if you want to sleep. If a guest in a neighbour room decides to take a shower, you will hear the flowing water really well. We also woke up to guests deciding to use the bubble bath in their room at 1 a.m. in the morning. The noice was really loud.

Friendly staff (we arrived near midnight and were warmly greeted), clean room, easy parking. Rooms are a little dated, but in good shape. They had light dinner items and snacks available for purchase in the lobby to heat up in the in-room microwave, which we appreciated. The included breakfast had a variety of items (fresh fruit, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, bagels, toast, cereal,..) and was served early if desired for heading out onto the slopes. Excellent location for Big or Little Cottonwood Canyons. If you're looking for a good value and safe, clean place to rest, you'll find it here.

The location of this hotel was absolutely right on staff was great accommodations were more than that we expected so I must say it exceeded what I thought I might have having not been there before I would definitely book this location for another stay should the occasion arrives all I can say in closing everything was what I wanted to visit salt Lake city thank you.

For us nothing everything we needed was right there.

Easy freeway access, mall down the block, places to eat nearby. Hotel staff friendly, room nice sized, all amenities we needed (fridge, microwave, coffee make, iron, blow dryer). Two queen beds and a mall sofa where a small child could sleep. Pool and jacuzzi and excellent breakfast (scrambled eggs, sausage, cereals, oatmeal, breads, fruit, juices, coffee).

Bed a little hard for me.

The breakfast was very good. Also, the staff was accommodating and nice.

There is not much negative that I could say. Though, after staying for 10 nights, we asked for a late checkout. However, we were only able to get 1 pm. We do appreciate that. Nonetheless, if we could have gotten 2 pm, it would have made us much, much, much happier as that would have greatly simplified our logistics on the day of departure.

All the staff were exceptionally friendly and sincere. The wonderful king bed and the pillows are very comfortable. It was nice to have the space of a sitting area separate from the bedroom. The whole facility would be nicer if the greeting area / common area was upgraded. For overall rates in SLC, this is a good value.

The room was very big and comfortable. The reception staff was very welcoming and made checking in very easy. The breakfast was more extensive than expected.

There was 2 sinks in the room, one had backed up and spewed gross guck back into the sink. We called the front desk and told them about it. They offered to have it cleaned the next day, but we were only there for one night, so didn't really help. To be fair, we had checked in fairly late. so nothing really could have been done.

Clean spacious room. Very quite inside and outside of the building. Hot breakfast was also very good. Eggs, sausage, potatoes.

Understand not getting housekeeping every day of a stay, but would have liked gor them to come in and empty the trash. The small cans fill up quickly.

Breakfast was okay. Usually a waffle and fruit. Covid has changed things a lot. They USED to have a great hot breakfast We love the shuttle driver, John. Great guy, always funny and willing to help out The ski bus stops RIGHT outside on the street

Well, this is not anyone's fault, but the elevator was out at the time we stayed. The rooms are a little bit dated, but it is a ski trip, so who cares... We miss the light DINNER!

The location was good for me. I was visiting friends & it was convenient. The room was large. It had a separation between a small living area (Couch & chair + table) and the bed. Breakfast was good. It was away from the street enough not to be bothered by outside traffic.
