Quality Inn Port Clinton

The hot tub and pool were both enjoyable, the indoor pool was comfortably warm. Breakfast included and area to make your own waffle area with butter and syrup. Inside of the hotel is wonderful and check in was easy, Becky went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable.

Breakfast options were too limited (besides waffles, there were two cereal options and yogurt), small areas of the hotel were dirty, like rust behind the sink in our room. The blankets in the rooms were a little thin, but the temperature of the rooms was nice. The hallway was very warm, as if there was no air conditioning in the halls.

After reading a couple of bad reviews we almost looked at other hotels. I'm so very glad we didn't. The staff was extremely nice. The breakfast each morning was very good, several choices . The room...oh my goodness, the view was absolutely beautiful! The bed was comfortable and the room had wall to wall windows facing Lake Erie!

The ice machine closest to us was broken but it wasn't that far to the other one.

Staff was helpful and friendly. TV didn't work, they came right down and changed out right away. The room was clean. Great location. Quiet.

Breakfast sausage & eggs were horrible. While rooms were very clean hallways very dirty. Parking was difficult and tight- not ALOT that can be done about the but an issue. Bed was HARD HARD HARD. I slept in chair with footstool it was so uncomfortable

The breakfast was the normal Continental breakfast. But everything was fresh and the room was clean everything was well laid out. The room itself was sparkling clean fresh clean sheets and pillowcases, new comforters bathroom was squeaky clean. Very impressive. And the great perk was the nice deck on Lake Erie in the back! What a beautiful view! All new furniture and clean decking and pool area.

The outside was rather weedy which gives the wrong impression when you first arrive.

Very VERY friendly staff, let us check in late, as we weren't able to get there until 1:00 as my husband and I both work late. But THE VIEW😍😍 Oh my goodness, the view!! It was gorgeous!!!! Right on lake Erie, and you could hear the waves crash. SO wonderful!!!! Very close to the heart of Port Clinton, and the Jet Express!

An unexpected fire alarm wake up call at 8:00 am after a late night check in. This was not the staffs fault as someone staying at the hotel next door had a car fire and decided to use the extinguisher in OUR hotel 😡.

We always stay at the Quality Inn in Port Clinton because of the location right on Lake Erie. The motel has a very big area facing the lake with chairs and tables in little groups. Anytime of day or night you can walk out and look at the lake. And in this area is a pool. We like the pillows, the beds, the table with two chairs.

Well, the plumbing is old. There is no way around that, unless they replace the tubs and showers. The room is very dark so we bring a night light along.

The staff were wonderful! Everyone who worked at the front desk during our stay had great customer service!! Loved being able to take our dog with us and stay right on the lake. We stayed the weekend of the 4th of July and were able to see fireworks from the hotel deck!

Dumb COVID had to ruin breakfast, but the to-go bags were great (frozen burrito, juice or water, donuts or danish). That, of course, wasn't the fault of the hotel. The staff even went out of their way to add an extra goodie to my daughter's breakfast bag.

Although the Quality Inn was on the main drag there was no traffic noise with the exception of an ambulance making a red light and siren run. Other than that the room was quiet and comfortable. My spouse slept for 14 hours when normal for her was about 6-7.

The bathroom, while large, could use a little TLC. It looked like the original shower rod was replaced with a poorly done curved one. It had started to pull away from the wall and caused the positioning of the curtain impossible to keep the water in the tub.

Loved the large rooms .. Very clean ... Beds were very comfortable .. Loved that the room had a couch and chair and table with chairs .. Also a microwave and mini fridge ( always a plus !) The pool area was awesome too !!! Right on the lake with a sunset view ! Great place to stay and yes ..I would stay again ! Another plus was it was walking distance to places to eat ( I highly recommend Jolly Ranchers for local Perch and Walleye !! So good !! ) Great room ..great location .. Great staff !

The room was very comfortable and clean. The receptionist was very helpful and prompt in responding to a question about using the TV. We had a good stay. The facility has not yet cleaned up the swimming pool but was in the process of arranging for this service. Because of Covid-19, breakfast was provided with hot coffee and a bag containing orange juice, a muffin or donut, a burrito that needed to be heated in their microwave. The price was reasonable and the hotel was very easy to find. te
