Wolf Inn Hotel

5 minute commute to Cedar Point. Close to numerous chain and independent restaurants. Mall, Movie Theater, Mini Golf across street. All the rooms have a mini fridge and microwave, went to Walmart got beverages and snacks. They have a courtyard pool (wasn’t open yet) however a plus. Also have coin op washer and dryer on property. And not to far from property is a laundromat, self serve dog wash, car wash. This is an independent hotel, no frills. However if you are looking for a clean room, close to cedar point without breaking the bank this is for you. The water pressure was amazing, and plenty of hot water too! The TV was a flat screen with plenty of Chanel options available. The staff I encountered very friendly.

This doesn’t take away from my stay, I plan to return next Cedar Point trip in a few weeks. The rooms have not been updated in awhile (to me for this type of travel a room is a room) You will get a clean comfortable bed to sleep in. The rooms do not have the following (I’m not sure if they are available upon request) Telephone, Alarm Clocks, Coffee Maker, Hair Dryer, Ironing Boards, iron. Again these things aren’t necessary or important to me, however if I was reading a review this information would help me decide.

The staff was outstanding. All the rooms have refrigerators and microwaves. The rooms could use a little cosmetic work, but they were fine. I spent a few hours a week in the room and it was perfectly acceptable. These are photos of outside around the pool in October.

The TV was hard to figure out. You have to go physically to the TV and get to HDMI. After that the guide is accurate. You should know there's no room service. I've been there twice for 2 days. And they don't have any ice buckets because people steal them of course. What could you expect for a $50 a night. It is a great value.

Amari at the front desk was very helpful, and polite. She also gave me information that I wasn't aware of. That information was that if you want to check in before 3:00 p.m. as long as it's not too early like 8:00 in the morning, You can pay an extra $20 which is what I did to check in at 1:30, but I could have checked in at noon and it still would have been $20. Which is what I am going to do my next trip there. Also, for what I paid I could not have asked for anything more, except fluffier pillows, as the ones that I had were flat. The room for the night was very reasonable for the money. $45 after tax is cheap, and you will not find that anywhere else!

Everyone was very kind. We met "Wolf" himself, who took a picture of us in our biker gear. Amari (sp?) at the front desk, the night clerk, and several employees we met on the grounds thanked us for staying and invited us to come back next year. The shower was great with good water pressure.

Hotel is very basic, but met our needs. We were in the front of the hotel and only a few feet away from a busy road with lots of motorcycles going by at all hours of day and night. Ice Machine was way in the back of the property, but the night manager was kind enough to fill our bin for us.

The staff were very friendly and location was perfect to all attractions and restruants on the strip. Room was cozy and bed was comfortable. The lights on the room at night were a nice touch and the pool area was relaxing.

Room could have been cleaned a little more prior to checking in. Unfortunately in that area of Sandusky, little bugs are always present, so we found some entering our room. I would also recommend extra tables by the pool to account for the higher number of guests.

The service is great. they helped me out with a taxi and fresh coffe in the middle of the night!

My husband needed to have taken to the hospital and admitted to ICU they extended our stay without giving us any problems. I initially booked two rooms and the people in the 2 nd room took my daughter home with them a day early because of this and they credited me their last night to my room.

They really need to get someone who knows how to clean a room and change a bed. One of my rooms the tub had hair and blood in it. They had hair and soil in the middle of the sheets and the sinks was dirty. My room was not too bad but there some things that they needed to fix. It smelled like smoke in a non smoking room and it looked like ( and showed that) the floors had not been swept correctly.

The receptionist was super friendly, and the check-in process was quick and easy! I was placed in a non-smoking room on the second floor, and it was equipped with all I needed for a night's stay. Milan Road is full of shops and restaurants, making this an excellent location for a passerby.

The second floor was stair access only; it was clean but not spotless, the bed was a stiff spring mattress, and the door was missing both inside locks (the latch and the deadbolt). I didn't like that the door lacked the additional locks, the AC unit produced a bad smell when it was on, and the pool is open until 9 PM so expect noise.

Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. We had some minor issues with our first room but once staff was notified we were assigned a different room, which was very comfortable and clean. AC worked perfectly and wasn't unually loud. The mattress was very firm which was perfect for me so I was comfortable. When I needed extra towels, soap or quarters for the laundry, I only had to ask at the lobby and staff provided them. We had no opportunity to use the pool but it appeared to be clean and a few families were swimming, lounging, and generally enjoying it. This was our 2nd stay here and we plan to return a few more times this summer.

My only complaint was the few issues noted in the first room we checked into, but it was resolved quickly. I was in a new room within 10 minutes of notifying staff so I was satisfied.

The property had the following good traits. -Inexpensive. $62.00 is amazing for a room anywhere. It wasn't super crowded. -The restaurant next door was inexpensive and great for breakfast. -The staff was friendly and helpful.

Honestly for under $100, I do not have any complaints. However, here are my critiques. -I was in 140, the room was noisy (it was near stairs). -The cleaning crew forgot to leave soap and shampoo. -We could her the neighbors and I'm sure they could hear us. -We could hear noise outside our room.
