Overall, this hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was wonderful and helpful. The hotel location is right before the bridge access to North Topsail beach, so a mere 5 minutes from the public beach access. The king suite is spacious and comfortable, and the bed was also comfortable. The pool was a decent size and shallow enough for our 5-year-old to touch the ground at both entrances and gets a little deeper toward the middle.

You can hear the adjacent rooms more than other hotels we've stayed in. The bed is incredibly tall which was a bit hard to get into for those of us who are rather short. There is a little bit of moldy areas in the shower, but less than some other more expensive hotels we've stayed at. The pool is not heated so it was pretty cool when we went (early September).

My dad and I go on a Father/Daughter fishing trip every summer. Your hotel was by far the best we've stayed in over the 15 years we've been doing this. The location was perfect, and the staff was welcoming and professional. When we checked out, one of us accidentally left our wallet/purse in our room. When we returned after fishing to ask about it, Adam had it at the front desk. Kristi had found it in our room and was honest to turn it in. My dad and I are super appreciative of your integrity, Kristi! We'll be back next year.

Unfortunately I do not remember the name of the young black lady behind the counter when I checked in Monday night around 10:00pm. She was the nicest, sweetest, kindest young woman I have met in quite a long time. I was on vacation with my family and we got into an argument, when I arrived at the hotel I was really upset. She could not do enough to try and calm me down. Water, tissues, talk, warm fresh baked chocolate chip cookies. She was the best!!!! She really deserves some sort of recognition! She was wonderful.

I can’t say enough about the staff at the front desk. We accidentally booked a room that doesn’t allow pets, and we had brought our dog. There were two staff members at the desk, and they both went above and beyond to accommodate my situation. They scrambled to switch my reservation, when they could have just turned me away. These two staff members deserve recognition but sadly I don’t know their names. Not only that, but the room was clean and smelled fresh, which is more than we can say for other pet friendly accommodations. Several times in the past, we’ve paid hundreds more for an oceanfront beach house, and had nowhere near the cleanliness and friendliness of this Quality Inn location. We will DEFINITELY return. Thanks for a great stay!

I wish the pillows were normal, standard sized pillows instead of little squares. It’s a small thing, but it somewhat effects comfort and sleep.

Joy was our favorite. employee. she did extra for us and made it special for our granddaughter. all employees were great, but Joy is a Joy!

we were in a room with no carpet and was slippery. elevator smelt like poop. limited on supplies our first 2 mornings for breakfast due to truck not coming in with order. it was great once truck delivered.

Breakfast was very good, but could have used some muffins or sweet rolls. Glad to have it included in the price! Location was very close to free public beach access!

Could have used some more friendly faces at the desk and they weren't always there. My husband says I expect too much. They did their job but weren't very friendly. Not enough towels in the bathroom. I usually use one towel for hair and one for body and there were only 2 bath towels which was not enough for both of us. Very little toilet paper on the roll and we had to ask for more.

I really loved the breakfast and how quiet the stay was. We enjoyed every minute of staying there. We could come and go as we please and the staff were very nice. Our room was super clean, so clean you could take your shoes off and walk barefoot on the cloors.

The only thing was that the pool wasn’t open but it was raining pretty bad.

The location is perfect. The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff made you feel like friends and honored guests.

The room doors slam very hard with whatever closing gadget that closes them. It wakes you up early and you hear them during the day from other guests letting them close on their own.

Location was great!!! We came for the beach... it was perfect. Convenient to anything we wanted or needed. Weather was great. Loved the COVID guidelines with housekeeping. They were awesome. Breakfast was good except they kept running out of things. One day was milk, OJ, yogurt. I think they might have been surprised at the volume of people staying there that week. We would stay there again.

Didn't like the rattlesnake that we had to find someone to take care of. It was one of our family that didn't hesitate killing it and removing it for the maintenance man. Also, a dead deer was on the property at roadside that no one bothered to remove for 3 days. That was sad and something should have been done to get it removed. You wouldn't want to lay on the side of the road dead and ignored. Between snake and deer wondered about individuals and their thoughts on animals. Oh and in room 206 the clock did not work - at all. Tried different receptacles - nothing worked with it. Otherwise, all else was very nice.

We are happy with the overall experience. The staff and owner were very friendly and welcoming. They did a wonderful job taking care of our every request! The facility was clean, orderly, and presented well. The breakfast bar was open however we only had coffee. It did look like it would have been yummy.

The only thing that would have made our stay even better would have been a newer mattress and a higher shower head. The bed was comfortable however the mattress was dipping and not supportive at all, like one that was older. My husband is tall and I'll 5'7' and we were not able to stand under the showerhead to shower. Not the end of the world but it was kinda annoying.
