Hilton Garden Inn Jacksonville

The lady at the front desk was incredible!! I wish I had gotten her name. When I booked the hotel I did so through "Booking.com" and it was a mess. Booking.com never sent the reservation into the hotel so you had no record of us. After sitting in the lobby for about an hour, your front desk person told us to go ahead and go to our room and she would work it out with Booking.com. We were very impressed with that as we were tired and wanted to refreshen up. It wasn't her fault but yet she stepped in and took care of it for us. Thank you!!

The breakfast was ok, however, I ordered the omelet that had everything in it that was on the menu and I told the server that I wanted the sausage, potatoes and all the veggies in the omelet and what I got was just a veggie omelet (no potatoes, no sausage) and I had to send it back to be cooked some more because the eggs were not cooked and it had raw eggs all over the plate. But my husband's bacon and cheese omelet was good so maybe I should stick with that next time. ;)

I loved the fire sitting area outside. Our king suite had a bedroom, then a main living area, and then a bathroom All employees were amazing

When getting breakfast included online, you just get a "voucher" so you don't have to pay again. If you want anything extra like pancakes, bacon, etc.. it's extra and you don't get much for the huge price. When you want hot water in your room for a shower, you have to turn all faucets on to as hot as it will go and wait till it gets hot, and then turn the shower on. It was still an amazing place, and we unexpectedly had to leave a day early, and they helped with the cost of that room for the night.

The fire pits outside were nice, the entire property gave a comfy home feel. It's also very close to businesses and restaurants.The breakfast was very good and the staff was very friendly and polite. My favorite part about the entire experience was after checking in, the walk to the elevator and through the halls then even into my room smelled amazingly clean!

I didn't like that my room was on the side with the dumpsters on trash day. I had a 9 1/2 hour drive to this location. I traveled a day early before my events so I could sleep in. I got to the hotel around 11:30pm and got to sleep around 1am. I woke up to the loud banging of the dumpsters pretty early, however I was able to fall back to sleep. Again everything was amazing and my biggest gripe is always cleanliness and this location was very clean. Just wish they would've put me on the other side of the hotel during the morning of trash day.

I loved the staff, everyone at the front desk was super helpful. The location was great since it was right near a lot of restraunts. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was good too.

My room included breakfast but when I went down for breakfast they said that only cereal was included but waffles and sausage I had to pay extra for. We stayed 4 days and the cleaning staff never came to our room to get dirty towels or trash.

breakfast was yummy. remember to get the vouchers the first breakfast i paid out of pocket for because the guy that checked us in did not give us voucher. i was supposed to be refunded but sadly was not. the room had dust and random dirt throughout the room

when a storm hit in the building lost power I totally understood that but after about nine hours the very large generator outside my window should’ve kicked on. It got very dark in the hallways and in the stairwells and the exit lights did go off if I had to run up and down the stairs numerous times, and it wasn’t in good shape, it would’ve been taxing on me.

Always enjoy staying at Hilton Garden Jacksonville! The staff is always happy and welcoming. The location is great. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. I visit Jacksonville regularly and will never stay elsewhere!

We loved the location of the property and how updated the rooms were. Loved that they had breakfast.

Not sure what was the cause but the “hot” water never did get hot and at night it was nonexistent. Also, the doors did not lock behind you when you left. We had to keep opening the doors until they finally locked. If it weren’t for that, then it would have been perfect!

Clean easy to get around and the staff was very helpful and accommodating.

The only grip I have is when you exit the grounds you can't take a left. You have to go right then down a bit then make a u turn. Not a huge problem but just a minor inconvenience. I am positive it's a city induced problem.
