Hotel Indigo - Williamsburg - Brooklyn, an IHG Hotel

Good location for walking and right by subway a huge plus. In no way super luxurious but was nice enough, clean enough and felt safe enough. Was happier with the place the longer I stayed. We ended up having a great visit.

Initially was not impressed with the City View from the room mostly because the Expressway is the primary view but got over it. The fridge in room is tiny and was barely cold. The in room coffee is fairly terrible...I asked for cream and sugar and was given a pack of powder creamer..no room service so kind of forced to use the bar downstairs...but the bar drinks were great

I hate the rugs in the bedroom. They are super slippy and slide around everywhere… and I feel like someone is going to slip and fall. Why are they in there? Take them out!

fantastic pool, great gym, loved the free coffee at reception and water by the pool ( lifesaver in the New York summer heat). Lobby was impressive.

Staff never replenished the coffee/ milk/ soap/ enough although. the rooms were clean. Not enough places in the bathroom to put your toiletries. Only one hook to hang a towel. Had to put shampoo etc on the shower floor.

The location was great, the price was a little steep for the room, considering it was overlooking the highway and very noisy, if the weather was nice you could never open the window for fresh air, and I think there should be a discount for parking right next to the hotel.

The location is phenomenal, so much to see by foot and easy to grab a subway to get into Manhattan and surrounding areas. The lobby is very pretty, with a bunch of comfortable chairs and a great coffee bar. The rooftop pool is a bonus. The room we had, the king standard, was very spacious and we appreciate the dedicated space the room had to store luggage.

This was a business trip and I was looking forward to using the lobby to work from, so that I would't have to feel stuck in the room all day. They have plenty of places to work in the lobby, but unfortunately the music was way too loud to comfortably work there. When I asked the front desk if they could turn it down, they weren't open to it, and I could still hear the music through my noise cancelling headphones. I don't recommend this space for business trips.

Everything was just about perfect. The people who worked the front “desk” we very accommodating and helpful all day and all evening. As a senior citizen I especially appreciated the help they gave me.

The property wasn’t my dislike issue. I was part of a large wedding group which used the the pool area for our gathering spot. Lovely area, however the hostess could benefit from learning to use kinder verbiage and still follow the “rules”… I will say she mellowed by the fourth day. Some of my objections could be related to having been raised with southern manners. Other than this one conflict, our stay was quite lovely. Thank you!

The restaurant was closed so we could not partake of the breakfast. The hotel was really nice and the room was nice and modern.

For me the mattress was ver uncomfortable because it was too firm. It’s my personal preference.

In the four years since I've been here this hotel has definitely improved. Found the staff very welcoming and friendly, room was good, bed was comfortable. Given where the building is there's not many opportunities for sweeping city views without also directly facing the BQE, but it's still a very urban feel nevertheless. Literally on top of two subway lines in every cardinal direction so getting around is a breeze.

Tiniest nit pick but the room did not have a desk. The hotel itself did have a rather large common area in the lobby that was plenty suitable to work from for stints when necessary.

great location, the parking garage and entrance are private and convenient. there is a small park right across the street for dog friends. the room was clean and comfortable, sleek sink and shower. staff is very friendly. the little coffee bar in the lobby is very delicious and convenient.

only thing was they did some testing on the fire alarms. I understand why that has to happen and I was relieved that the system was operable but they didn’t give the guests a heads up of any kind and it lasted for about 45 minutes, which my dog hated every second of. good thing is I doubt that happens often!

The fact that cleaning of the room is done every 5 days. We would see our hair on the floor in the bathroom and in the room every evening when returning to the room. I expect to have my bedsheets changed every day which was not the case. Once they omitted to make the room and we had to insist that they send somebody to make the beds, change the towels and clean. Sad we couldnt enjoy the rooftop
