SpringHill Suites Mishawaka-University Area

Breakfast was nice and the bus transport to the university area was perfect.

I had some jewelry go missing while at the facility. I live 2.5 hours away so I was calling and working with the manager on the recovery. Katrina was my main contact and she was less than helpful. I had to call 4 times over the course of a week to get her to even return my call. She promised each time she would call and did not. Each time we spoke it was like the first time. She asked my name and room number and dates of stay. Almost like she really didn’t write it down or recall who I was. I am fearful the items were stolen out of my room. She never offered to review cameras to determine this. Also, her follow up was not appropriate. It seemed like she never even looked.

We had two rooms for four nights. The location is excellent. Many restaurants were even within walking distance. The breakfasts were excellent with many choices. Housekeeping did not come into the room but anything we needed we simply went to the desk i.e., more towels, coffee, toilet paper. Rooms had a couch and two small tables. Our family members brought down their two tables and a desk chair and we played cards each night.

Room was large and comfortable. Clean. Bed and pillows were wonderful. Liked the separate desk area, living area. Lighting was good. Liked the proximity to shopping, restaurants.

Breakfast selection was average at best. My shower/tub must have had an overlay or something placed over it. I felt like I was standing in a trench when showering!

Breakfast was good, the rooms were very quiet. The room we had a ceiling fan that was great for the sofa sleeper area. Bed was comfortable but seemed like a queen and not a King.

The pool was closed and the exterior of the building needs TLC. Power wash or paint maybe both.

Staff got us what we needed right away. Bed was comfortable. Room HVAC was real good.

Facility is dated. Lounge seat covers torn. Bath door would not close. Shower leaked on the floor outside tub.

I like that it was convenient it was close to my home the staff was really friendly and the pool was nice

I didn't like that one of the rooms had a sock left in it they need to clean more thoroughly and the elevator broke down the next day when I was leaving so I had to carry everything down using the stairs

Nice place. Comfortable, good value. Staff was great. The king suite was really nice.

Too many kids making noise and people smoking in the rooms close to me. Awakened really early by noisy folks.

Good location, big rooms, fair price. Very clean hotel & clean rooms.

Only thing was we came back to our room & neither key would work, got a new one & that didn't work. Finally a staff member had to let us in with a master key. Not a huge deal but inconvenient.

The staff was amazing — friendly, helpful, good humored. The people made the experience great!

We were a little disappointed that the room wasn’t cleaner, but really liked the amenities in the suite, especially the kitchenette.

The breakfast was ok. The breakfast sandwiches were very good just miss the full hot breakfasts. The room had good space. The lobby was nice and the staff was awesome.

There was a caterpillar on our ceiling when we were getting ready to check out.
