The location is perfect for seeing the city very close to river walk and all Chicago has to offer. Staff were always there when you needed someone and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend it to all travelers to Chicago

I booked a corner king bedroom. I was amazed that we also had a river view. The pendry was in an amazing location, is a beautifully newly restored historic building. It was close to everything. We were able to walk everywhere: riverfront, the lake, restaurants, parks, art gallery, ebike rentals, theatres, tours etc. Amazing. Chicago is a beautiful city and the Pendry made it even more special. From the moment we arrived and received our secret drink, check in, all the staff were amazing. We were on a 5 week road trip and this was our favorite hotel. I wasn’t expecting it to be so wonderful, since other hotels in the area were more expensive.

There really is t much to complain about. The valet parking is expensive, but parking downtown in this area is that price. At least we had in and out service.

The building is incredible. The location is just great.

When it says "breakfast included", that means you have a 30$ credit per person in the Ventaux Cafe or for room service, which can be not enough to cover the breakfast, specially if you order it for your room.

Awesome downtown location, right at the Magnificent Mile and the Chicago River. The personnel is really friendly, helpful and especially at the reception they make sure to give a personal touch to your stay. You feel welcome and at home. The reception has great suggestions for the places to have food and they will make sure you get a table in your favorite restaurant. The room is great. Spacious, modern and very well equipped, with extremely comfy beds and even an exercise device in the room. The historic element of the building are nicely preserved even after the modernization. Make sure you have a drink at the roof terrace, with its stunning view over a part of the Chicago River. Special kudo's to the hotel for sending through the packages that were received after my checkout. They reached me at my home address in Europe within days. Well done!

Very clean and well kept, everyone is friendly and understands their job is to make your stay a memorable and stress free one.

$125 a night for incidentals is a little much, I locked in for a price of $569 on booking.com and paid $759 at the property.

cleaned and modern property, great location

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Pendry. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful from storing our luggage as we arrived early, providing recommendations for dinner and even helping us get an Uber at a location near by on our day of departure, as there were lots of detours in the city due to Lollapalooza. They even sent up a bottle of Prosecco as it was my birthday. The room was clean and it was quiet. We had requested a room on an upper floor which they gave us. Added touches include little stuffies for kids. Lots of seating in the lobby if you are waiting for your room. Also fantastic location as we could walk to all the local sites.

The Pendry hotel was beautiful both inside and out and was in such a central location, easy walking access to beautiful parts of the city. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels when needed. The air conditioning was excellent too, room was so comfortable despite being very hot outside.

My only criticism was that the windows were not double glazed which I fully understand in such an old building, so it sounded like our window was open even though it wasn't, it didn't affect our sleep as we were so tired from touring all day.

Nicely located, posh hotel in the art deco skyscraper in the center of Chicago. Exceptionally clean

Soundproofing could be improved both from the corridor noises (and my neighbours bathroom pipes) and street, which can be quite busy even in the middle of the night, not mentioning the wall-penetrating sirens. For US hotel it is well equipped, by international standards some improvements could be done to the room e.g. installing universal wall sockets and a master switch next to the bed. Rooms are spacious and running around to different corners in order to switch all the lights off right after you got well cozy in the bed is a so-so experience especially for such a nice place.

Everything. The service, the food, the activities provided were all amazing. The room had a nice view and came with a stocked fridge and honor bar. This was just amazing. The shampoo, Conditioner and everything else has a distinct scent. They sell it in a candle which I regret not getting. I'm going to be calling them to see if they could ship it. The Staffs service was amazing. They were courteous and kind and I just didn't know if it was a Chicago thing or a Pendry thing but it was amazing.

There was a charge per night. I didn't mind it, I just didn't know so it caught me of guard when the price of the room doubled to what I expected it to be. They give it back at the end.
