Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino

I loved the surrounding area, nestled in the Sierra Nevada made it a picturesque retreat. Quite a hike though to Yosemite. Took us almost 2 hours, further than I thought. Rooms are a good size, clean and have full amenities. Beds are comfortable, loved the counter space below the TVs. The pool was excellent. Beautiful views, nice hot tub.

I was very disappointed that the hotel isn't truly smoke-free. The casino is connected, but since it doesn't have its own entrance, you can smell the smoke in the hotel lobby and restaurants. There are tons of smokers in the casino! I took a sandwich outside to eat, but then smokers were out there too. Also, any hotel guests under 21 needs to be supervised while staying there because they don't want them wandering in the casinos where alcohol is served. So if you have teens, they'll need you to accompany them at all times to/from the room and there's a security checkpoint near the elevators to show ID. It should be called an "adult-only" hotel. I wish we would have known.

I tried to use two restaurants, my phone number was taken and I didn’t get a call. the pool was closed.

Chino our Bell hop was absolutely amazing. He was friendly, informative, hospitable and overall has an outstanding awareness of customer service. We we so bummed to know he was off on Wednesday we were hoping to get a little more Brooklyn influence! I hope this employer knows Chino is a diamond in the rough!

We didn’t win anything and money went so fast we didn’t get to play and enjoy the casino really. We win in Palm fester casino and we will return there, to play our money lasts longer at least if we aren’t going to win we can play for awhile!

Room was huge with separate bedroom and living room area. Same with Bathroom two separate bathrooms. Excellent service once I reached there, Staff was very polite and helpful. Really nice view from the window. Watching Sunrise from the room was breathtaking.

Room was good, but all the doors in the room were making loud squeaking sound. They were loud enough to wake sleeping person. Main areas in room ware clean but it seemed like room hadn't been rented in a while so some area/corner were a tiny bit dusty.

the room looked nice and everything appeared new. comfy bed. about an hour from Yosemite entrance, 2 hours from Yosemite valley. nice indoor/outdoor pool, although I thought the indoor pool would be warmer, but it is connected to the outdoor portion so both sides are the same temperature. great view. free parking close to the entrance.

strong smell of smoke in the lobby. long wait at all restaurants in the casino on a Sunday evening. make sure to put your name on the wait list about 30-60 minutes before you want to eat. the check in staff was nice, restaurant staff didn’t seem well trained. when we asked if all restaurant have a waitlist she said “I don’t know, maybe”. all the restaurants are part of the casino so the staff should be able to answer simple questions.

When you are aware that it is a Casino it is a totally fine stay to visit Yosemite. Even given that you have to drive some time before actually getting there. For us it was nice enjoying the resort in a different schedule then the casino guests.The rooms however are super specious and newly renovated. Really comfortable.

It is a nice comfortable stay, only in the basement there is a casino hall where people are allowed to smoke.

On the day we arrived the hotel computer system was completely down. It was very frustrated for everyone to check~in and staff there. But staff were working very hard. Due to this there was some confusion. I lost my prescription sunglass in my room because the housekeeping thought room need to be cleaned by computer misleading information so they throwed away every on the table in my room. Once I found that I talked to front desk and the security staff. They were trying to helping find it for me. I would like especially to thank the security department supervisor Matt! He followed this very serious and have video monitor system checked during the period between 4:30~6:00pm and tracked down the the people in housekeeping department. Finally they found my prescription sunglasses. He called me, verified my address and finally had mail delivery tract number to me. I was so touched for his professional working efforts and manners. He is truly an excellent supervisor! Today I got the package the hotel mailed. Thank you very much, Matt! and thank all the people who helped me! We are really appreciated. And we will come to stay next time again!

The staff, property (especially the pools), and free valet parking was great. Not too far from Yosemite which was our reason for visiting.

The smoke smell. While this was limited to the casino and lobby area and not room wing it was very noticeable and uncomfortable. It was disappointing given how everything else was excellent including guest service.
