Really enjoyed the cabin, the beds were extremely comfortable. I also liked the fully stocked kitchen and the fact that you could access most streaming services on the tv. Also close walk to the lake and the shops. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

There was just a few things that could have improved. There was dirty silverware up in the loft, a very strong cleaning smell that we had to air out, and a bent towel bar, but overall very good. Also couldn't get breakfast at the restaurant because it was so crowded and short staffed. We waited 15 minutes at the hostess stand with nobody helping us (ended up leaving and going somewhere else) but at night we had a reservation and got right in, excellent food and service.

Nearness to lake. Comfort of room and appointments. Staff couldn’t have been nicer and gracious.

Minimal handicap accessibility. Staff informed us only one room in the facility was handicap accessible and someone had a long-term rental. Store fronts have minimal accessibility as wheelchair ramps were not available. Hard to travel with wheelchair-bound partner because too many facilities provide minimal or inadequate facilities. The Pines tries very hard but if my husband was completely wheelchair bound we couldn’t stay here.

We wished we had booked it for longer. Really wonderful place to stay with excellent facilities and more. It has everything you could.possible expect from a holiday... Great rooms, quiet, watersports, lots of places to get food and drink.... and the views are magical. ,

Staff at the hotel restaurant are obviously not motivated. It took ages to get a seat despite it being half empty and they could have been more polite overall.

The location on the lake with watersports is excellent. Really enojyed the facilities on site. Excellent Bar at the top, nice bar/restraunts down the bottom and a shop with all the goods you need. Staff were always very pleasent. Room was ample sizing for a couple or family of 3. Lovely deck to have breakfast and dinner on. Good cooking facilities. Positives certainly outway any niggling negatives.

Check in was delayed by an hour or two due to staff shortages, not ideal after a long drive to get there. But, we sat by the lake and soaked in a bit of nature while we waited which was very nice. Room needed a good vaccum & mop. Lady when checking out couldn't explain the reasoning for extra charges on my card, once a manager came this was resolved.

The resort is beautiful and the receptionist told us that they had wild active bears on the property but we unfortunately, didn’t get to see any but would have liked to. It’s about a 10-15mins drive from the main town center so you’ll need to drive out if you want to buy groceries / have food. However, there are a few shops within the property that you can visit if you don’t want to drive out as well so that's a nice option. There is also a water cooler available at the reception so you can fill your bottles before heading out. The chalets are two story apartments with the living area + kitchen on the first floor and the bedroom & the bathroom in the basement. There is also a balcony that you can enjoy!

The wifi at the basement (where the beds are) were awfully slow.

We loved the lodge but the sofa bed was horrible, very noisy and very uncomfortable. The jacuzzi and the pool where nice and the restaurant was also very nice . We borrowed some fun games . We had a great time

We didn,t get to see the bears 🫣. And there was trash under the balkony which we cleened up .

The chalet was perfectly cozy, clean and neat. We had drinks at the pine bar and the drinks were okay. I was caught by surprise to know that they don’t have a printed menu but the bartender was sweet and made us what we ordered. We also tried Ducey’s restaurant for dinner; the food was good and service was quick. The property is well kept and we enjoyed our stay.

The chalet was perfectly cozy, clean and neat. We had drinks at the pine bar and the drinks were okay. I was caught by surprise to know that they don’t have a printed i I constantly got texts from Pines resort telling me to reach out reception whenever I need something but a couple of times I called them regarding heater and wifi, they just asked me to look at the paper with instructions and told me they can do nothing more. Really not impressed with reception staff but apart from it, our stay was really good.

We spent overnight for Valentine’s Day. Dinner was great and breakfast was good. The location was very peaceful! Staff was friendly and service was good.

Very old and furniture worn down. The facilities n location are not plush but is good visit for quiet and clean. I didn’t like that they added additional feesfor taxes, resort fee. And total gave me was more than then I expected. I didn’t like that I had to wait for deposit from facility and receipt from booking.com. They should put deposit on hold and apply if needed.

beautiful place especially if visiting Yosemite Park. will need a car as no means of transport. amazing views and lake bass was a destination in own right. family friendly.

breakfast is not served due to covid within expensive room rates but is served if you pay for it..an incoherent message to save on costs by hotel and make money but not to take away from an amazing hotel. please stay

Cozy charlet - big and with fireplace, beautiful nature, nice people, all what you need (post office, shop, restaurants), near to Yosemite National Park.

Unfortunately the Wi-Fi didn’t work in our room because of a winter storm but the Wi-Fi in the lobby was fine.
