We stayed two nights here on our 3 week roadtrip and it instantly felt like home. By far the BEST BB you can book! Wonderful and perfectly clean rooms, Ruth and her family are perfectly caring for everything and everyone. The best breakfast we had on our entire trip with homemade items an a beautiful view of the wildlife in her garden! Ruth gave us the best tips for visiting Yosemite so that we could get the maximum out of our visit. Stop searching, book here!

Clean, and comfortable Ruth Ann and family looked after us so well Helped plan our trips to Yosemite - when to leave so as to get parking, which hikes make sense based on your experience, how to divide up the days to make the most efficient use of the time we had. Gave us the low down on establishments in Mariposa. Customized and yummy breakfasts considering our dietary restrictions and a packed test edger day really spoiled us.

Ruth Ann and her family make you feel so welcomed. She's the greatest host! We went without a car and she helped us to make it to the park and back. She prepares the most delicious and personalized breakfasts! It was great to stay at her place. Everything is very clean. The room was big. There's nature around you Thank you much Ruth Ann, Terry and family!

many things - in the middle of no where, scenery stunning, deer up to the garden table in the morning, beautiful freshly prepared breakfast each morning with other guests and the very hospitable and knowledgeable hosts Ruth, Monty and Kim, homemade cake for your mornings journey - bed v comfortable - excellent we really enjoyed our stay - thank you

the only aspect is the cost effectively £144 a night - but is that the Yosemite factor? I think over priced but I would stay again if I ever return to the area did the hospitality, scenery, breakfast and comfy bed

Amazing food - up there with the best i've had in a B&B (in top 3) with multiple options, always very varied, and plentiful. Hearty food good for hiking in the nearby park. Location is absolutely amazing - beautiful piece of land with breathtaking views. Staff is super friendly, accommodating, and makes you feel just like you are home at grandma's house. Accommodated an unusually late check in as well, as we were coming from LA.

Bed was not very comfortable. Rooms need blackout blinds!

If you want to be spoiled every morning near Yosemite with a top breakfast and a hospitable person who tells you all the do's and don'ts about the area and Yosemite in particular, then this is the place to be. Within the shortest time you are part of Ruth's family. Wonderful person who runs a top B&B in the middle of nature

Ruth Ann and Montie are super hosts. Their home is like a wonderland. Montie has a nice garden, and you can enjoy it in the morning, by viewing how couple of deers and tens of birds are coming for their breakfast as well. Not only we enjoyed our delicious meals each morning, but thankfully to our kind host and wonderful cook -- Ruth Ann, every time after breakfast some sweet treats were waiting for us neatly packed, so we can "fuel up" on the hikes.

Ruth Ann is a great host! She explained us how to get to the park without sitting in line forever. She gave us a short guide for the park and the surroundings. The breakfast was delicious and the room was clean. Really home-like atmosphere.

The building is pretty old which shows.

Whoa the breakfast spread is filling. They serve some sort of variations everyday between oats (oatmeal, baked oats), eggs (quiche, scrambled, omelette, french toast), potatoes (fried hash, panfried hash). bacon/sausages, fruits etc. with OJ, tea, coffee. You'll sure find something to fill your empty stomach. Very accommodating to dietary needs. Little muffins for a quick bite on the road helps when I'm on a hike but not ready for lunch yet. Wonderful hosts! For New Englander folks though, Bed and Breakfast in the East Coast can be quite luxurious and Victorian style. Out here, the more traditional Bed and Breakfast with a host serving you cozy food in their home is amazing too.

The location is rural as if Mariposa is not rural enough. Just be careful of curvy roads and deer crossings. Despite only an hour to Yosemite entrance, to get to most hikes -- add another hour. After doing 2 days of mountain road driving, despite my love for Yosemite, I was tired of driving into the NP. No wonder ppl pay top bucks to say closer. Though I wouldn't recommend Yosemite Valley either --it's a mob!!! Overall, we chose the right accommodation and location since it was hard to find food inside Yosemite. There were so much more options in Mariposa like a brewery, ramen, Mexican etc. If you want more days to enjoy Yosemite without the driving, backpack camping a few days is the way to go in order to avoid the crowds.

Felt like part of the family. Location to Yosemite was great and the breakfast was wonderful! Great hints on what to check out in the park and when. Had awesome deer and turkey visitors every morning!
