The hosts were really friendly and helpful and able to help us with any questions we had and gave advice on what to do. There was a great choice of breakfast items and it was always delicious. Lovely view from the room.

Convenient location 10 minutes walk into Bowness which has many shops, restaurants and boat trips on windermere.Easy access to other places in the Lake district.Lovely breakfast 😊

Parking a bit tight if large vehicles are parked at the side of the building.

The staff were really helpful and friendly. It was an old house and the owners wanted to keep as many original features as possible, modernising would have ruined it. Good breakfast. 2 comfy chairs.

Limited breakfast time. Old house meant that not all decoration could be up to modern standards.

ItKaren, the landlady, was wonderful! She helped carry our luggage upstairs, she gave great advice on eating out and places to visit and chatted freely without being intrusive. Her 22yrs experience shone through! The room (6) was spacious and had a wonderful view. Breakfasts were great and included locally sourced provisions. My wife and I would certainly stay here again if in the area and highly recommend it.

There was nothing that caused us any reason to complain.

Lovely location, a very enjoyable stay. Stayed in room 6 which looked over the hills across the lake. Breakfast was pre-ordered which suited us and quality was excellent. The owners couldn't do enough to ensure we were happy and settled. Free parking is a bonus for this location and we were able to walk into the town centre of Bowness quickly and with ease. A great B&B to visit at a very reasonable price. This was our second visit to this B&B and we will visit again. Thank you.

There was nothing really. Nothing to complain about at all. We loved our stay and will be returning.

Great hosts and location , although up a small hill , this was a 10 minute walk to the town centre and the lake or £3.90 in a taxi. Karen and Andy were so welcoming and gave great tips about getting around Bowness. Breakfast was perfect and pre ordering was a great idea . Room had everything you need and was nice and comfortable. Will definitely book again.

The location is fantastic The building is pretty Room comfortable Breakfast is good Karen is lovely

Bathroom light causes fan to come on, which is a bit noisy and will wake the other person sharing the bed. Bathroom v small if you're a largeish person. These are small issues that wouldn't stop us booking again

This is a great place to stay if you want to be part of Bowness but away from the crowds. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful and the guesthouse is only a pleasant ten minute walk or 2-3 minute drive from town. It is in a rural setting and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. I would definitely stay again and would recommend.
