Loved the location, the photos are something else, dogs allowed (paid £20 extra for 1 night), balcony overlooking the Loch, under cover designated parking (great for the frosty morning), good size studio with well equipped kitchen, friendly staff, access to spa (didn't have time to use it though), super hot water, hot shower, good size space. Nice and clean. Comfortable sofa, chairs and dining suite.

The Murphy bed was creaky and hard so we used the sofa bed, which was not creaky but was uncomfortably soft in the middle but hard at the bottom so we didn't sleep very well. The place is a bit tired and rough around the edges but it is clean, tidy and I would stay again just for the location. If I could change one thing it would be to have an earlier check in time as standard because arriving to check in for 5pm feels like a waste of a stay when you just go for 1 night and have to check out at 10am so you only get 17 hours, which isn't long in the winter when the sun goes down so early and you cannot enjoy the fabulous view for long enough.

Fantastic views, lovely walks, small quiet village. A beautiful part of the world.

Be prepared before you get here, ensure you have plenty of food/drink and fill up your car before you get 45 mins away.

The lodges themselves were big and absolutely stunning. The view over the loch was incredible! The lodges included everything we needed and everything was clean.

The check in time was much later than we were used to. 5pm seems quite late to me. Additionally, check out time was 10am which was very early. We were asked to strip the beds ourselves and sort them into bags, which I have never experienced when staying at lodges before.

Serene Location: The remote setting of Loch Rannoch Highland Club provided a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Breathtaking Balcony Views: The balcony overlooking Loch Rannoch offered stunning vistas of the surrounding natural landscape, perfect for unwinding and soaking in the tranquility. Well-Equipped Villa: The villa was thoughtfully equipped, especially the kitchen facilities, allowing for convenient meal preparations during our stay.

Upon arrival, we encountered a minor inconvenience as the heaters were off, resulting in a chilly interior. Given the high ceilings, it took a significant amount of time for the room to warm up, detracting from the initial comfort of our stay. Overall, while the serene location and well-appointed villa were highlights of our experience at Loch Rannoch Highland Club, the delayed heating upon arrival was a notable drawback.

The view is absolutely stunning. Lodge was really spacious, which allowed the whole family to be together on the top floor while allowing people to have their own space on the floors below. Staff were super friendly, really easy to check in. Beds were great, felt very relaxed. Whole place very clean.

Some of the furniture could do with updating. For example, there had obviously been a previous leak from the skylight that damaged the kitchen chairs. They just need recovered as nothing else wrong with them. Also we had a large group (7) didn't realise that it was only 1 car per lodge so we did cause a problem with parking as we had an additional car. Think this could be clearer on booking. We would have paid extra to secure an extra space.

Lovely location with good view over the loch. Well equipped apartment and comfortable beds and appreciated that they allowed dogs. Short walk along to hotel for meals, snacks or coffee.

For us oldies there are a lot of steps to and from the apartments as the place is built on a steep slope. Parking is in an allotted space then luggage has to be carried down steep steps to the apartment. In the apartment the main bedroom although lovely with view over the loch and en suite is down a flight of steps!

The apt was absolutely fantastic- incredible views and extremely clean.

We stayed in an apt, but went to the hotel for a drink. Tried to book into the restaurant on multiple occasions, but it was fully booked despite having money off vouchers and promotions left.! The staff at the hotel were extremely unwelcoming and not friendly at all.! We accidentally went to the hotel for check in… the attitude was pretty poor, not given any help to find the check-in.! I was just told I am not booked in there.! It was also very disappointing that we couldn’t use the pool facilities, even if we wanted to pay this was not possible.! So wasn’t great for the kids as hardly anything for them to do! Again, this was the hotel - very rude. The staff at the water sports at the Marina were absolutely amazing, extremely helpful, friendly and kind.

There was many things to like. We arrived a wee bit early but our room was ready so we got in early. We booked a studio with a conservatory. Room was great with all we needed for the night. Was warm and clean. The view was amazing over the loch. We would stay again.

Only down side is that the conservatory was damp and had a dehumidifier that we had to switch off at night or it would have been noisy. The smell of damp was so strong in it we couldn't sit in the conservatory. There was also clothes of sorts on the window ledges that were soaked with water. We opened the window during the night to let the air in which helped the next day. Was a shame because we were looking forward to using that area.

Everything in the studio we stayed was designed with practicality in mind. Really large and enjoyable balcony with lake views. Dogs allowed with a small fee. Parking directly under the studio. Easy to communicate staff. Kayaks can be rented from the activity centre located 2 mins away from the lodges.

The wifi was really poor. We were a bit disappointed with the fact that we weren't allowed to make use of the spa and the gym. We were aware that they are not offered free of charge to the lodge residents as they are to the hotel guests but we assumed we'd be able to pay a daily fee and access.
