The base of the bed one bit was sticking out compared to other side , so when getting out and in had to get to the bottom of bed then work my way up , for an elderly lady I have an ulcer in my leg , so if it got knocked and bleed that’s a year of hospitsl and dressing , si wasn’t a good advert

Sorry got it wrong way , liked it had everything in room for every thing that could go wrong with iron and board , hair drier , fan in hot weather as it was , very lucky . Lost all my money , the police were marvellous. Got cards back si that was a bonus it’s was found on the home store so nice and very helpful sympathy

From check in the staff were very friendly, efficient and clear with instructions. We were a little early so our rooms were quite ready but they stored our luggage for us and we got a drink on arrival which I thought was a lovely touch. The room was very clean and spacious, the shower was amazing! Proper power shower which I loved. They had a fan in the room, I suffer with heat regulation so this was a big bonus also there was plenty of plug which also included a USB port. We had our breakfast at the hotel and it was lovely. The location of the hotel was central and you could walk to lovely shops and restaurants etc overall 10/10 highly recommend

I liked everything about my stay

Hotel location in the centre of Pitlochry was great! I arrived by train and the hotel was only a 5 minute walk from the station. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. I had a small double room for single occupancy which was ideal for me. The room was clean with a very comfy bed, fluffy white towels and windows which opened. This was important as it was very warm weather. The quality of food at dinner was very good. I opted for the continental breakfast - this was entirely self service but there was a good enough choice.

I really enjoyed my stay apart from the live music on Friday night - it was quite loud and went on until after midnight making it difficult to sleep until it stopped.

Lovely hotel, in the perfect position to enjoy Pitlochry, and especially the Highland Games, which I came to see. The breakfast team were wonderful - so helpful, friendly and welcoming every day, which makes such a difference to your day, especially if you are travelling alone.

The only slight trouble was how hot my room was, as it was on the third floor, and there was a rare heatwave, but to be fair, I later discovered a big fan in the wardrobe, so if I'd been more observant, it would have been a lot better! :-)

The rooms were spacious,a lovely comfy bed slept Well, also a good shower which was powerful, loved the mirror lol very fancy need to get one😁

When we arrived at reception, there was only one woman on who was in the middle of a personal telephone conversation!we thought was very rude, and in turn think she was annoyed as if we interrupted her!was not very welcoming to us or more so my partner, but throughout our stay the other staff where very friendly and helpful, when we checked out they were very nice and courteous.all in all we has a great stay

Excellent central location, spacious bedroom, very friendly and helpful staff. Free whisky on arrival!

The restaurant food. Parking in the hotel car park wasn’t possible on our first night. Ok, it was Easter weekend and the hotel was full but it meant looking for parking spaces nearby and getting up early to move the car to a local car park the next day. Fortunately we were lucky to find a hotel parking space for our second night. But be aware that everywhere around the centre of Pitlochry is 30 mins only and most of the car parks say no overnight parking.

The staff were incredibly welcoming. The offer of a whisky or sherry is a nice touch too. Room was very comfortable and even though its classified as a single it was actually a small double. Good shower with plenty of pressure even though it was on the top floor. Good breakfast as well.

Being next to the lift shaft meant that I had the noise from the lift going up and down. Not too much of a problem though. Talking of the lift, it was a bit like a theme park ride sometimes. After meeting up with my cousin we ate at the Coach House. It did take some time for the food to arrive after they had to double check what we'd ordered. Again not a major problem as it gave us a chance to catch up.

The Fishers is a great hotel, 100 metres from the train station access at rear front enterance middle of the high street. The food was great and the staff are always welcoming and happy to help. I've stayed there several times and is always my first choice.

Better luck salmon fishing or even asking it not to snow and rain in Scotland in January lol. Honestly The Fishers is a great hotel if your there for a night or a week. I would like to see maybe a choice of books or games,i had my eleven year daughter with me but i understand the situation with the recent covid outbreaks.

That car park drove me nuts. Despite obtaining a permit on arrival, I could never find a spot when we returned from the Theatre in the evening. I came to the conclusion that you offer more permits than there are spaces. Additionally, the disabled spot( I found only one, though I may be wrong) was occupied by cars without blue badges. Such a moan, I’m afraid, but this will probably prevent me using your hotel for my Theatre visit next year. Brian Atwell

Excellent location with very friendly and helpful staff creating a nice atmosphere in the hotel. Reception area now very much improved with a more welcoming feel with the new layout.

Room overlooked courtyard towards carpark and had some sort of extraction system(or generator or something equally noisy) on roof outside bedroom window I think which seemed to start up around 4.45am disturbing what would have otherwise been a very peaceful and quiet room.
