The location of this lodge is just superb, the view of Fistral beach, Headland and the open sea is stunning, it is about a 25min walk to town but you can walk along the coast (bit rocky at times, so probably not the easiest with a buggy or any mobility device). The breakfasts were fantastic, good portions (plus you can have as many as you'd like), the dinners were also great, exceptional cocktails and very good fish & chips amongst other things. The staff were always going out of their way to make us feel comfortable, very friendly. The room (we had room 15, Ocean view) was the best, most calming hotel room we have ever stayed in. The tub of Epsom salt next to the giant bathtub (from which you can watch TV and also stare out onto the sea without any risk of anyone seeing you) was second to none. There is also a huge parking lot just for the hotel. We are already planning our next trip back! There

I really can't fault anything with this place - for us it was perfect, but we were happy to walk to/from the hotel, fro someone with mobility difficulties, probably not the best or will have to take a cab/drive.

The location of the Lewennick Lodge was good and we had a lovely stay. Our room was comfortable and had a lovely view with a balcony. Sadly the weather was not really good enough to make use of the balcony. Our room was provided with dressing gowns. We ate in the restaurant and the food was good. The staff were friendly and we would happily return.

One small point I would make is, don’t leave anything in the dressing gown pockets as these are not checked before being sent to the laundry. I rather absentmindedly left my glasses in the pocket of the dressing gown and as I had my contact lenses in, didn’t realise until we reached our next accommodation. I contact the lodge, but they were not found. I was informed that they do not check the dressing gowns before they go to the laundry. Despite follow up on my behalf by staff at the lodge they were not found. An expensive mistake on my part.

The hotel is in a fantastic location overlooking the sea & with views back to Fistral Beach. Our corner room downstairs had the views, the sound of waves crashing against the rocks, an enormous Emperor-sized bed and large bathroom. Enjoyed walks along the coast, up to Fistral Beach & Newquay and down across The Gannel (just watch the tide times). Superb restaurant for breakfast & dinner and bar with outside seating. We'll be back !

Restaurant can be noisy at times & some waits to be served.

Loved the phone call to say the room was ready. Very good. Loved dinner and breakfast. Loved the location, staff, room and the Tesla charging spaces.

We had the family room 11, which is a lovely room. Unfortunately the car park is just below and the gravel is very noisy at 5;30am when deliveries seem to begin. Vehicles coming and going at all hours does disturb a night's sleep in that room. But it's a minor point for an otherwise excellent stay. Not much to be done about it but something for others to consider when it comes to which room to book, but it was a great family room.

The first experience was the beautiful bar area with a real fire and great coffee before our epic and stunning coastal from the hotel to Mawgan Porth. We got back after dark and saw the room which was beautiful, clean, stylish and warm. The art work was amazing on the top atrium and in the room. The view from bed in the morning is absolutely stunning! We had the most delicious meal in the restauant and a great veggie breakfast with the view! Staff were all lovely too! 10/10

Pretty much everything except for the evening food - and that's not in a terrible way it just seemed a little off. View, room, morning staff breakfast all phenomenal

The evening food felt overpriced and average. Duck was definitely overcooked. The evening (restaurant staff) didn't seem very aware of what was available or generally pleased to be there ... perhaps like they weren't with it / feeling tired but just dampened the mood a little. Clear difference to the breakfast / morning staff which saved the experience. Felt like having already paid £209 for one night we got an anniversary card but a complimentary cheap bottle would have been nice.

We stayed in room 14 for 3 nights to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. The views were amazing and to top it off, within 10 minutes of being there looking out the window a seal swam past. All the staff were really good at thier jobs and very polite and helpful. We booked a table for a meal in the restaurant on the evening of our anniversary. Which was perfect in every way. We both enjoy walking and walked into Newquay every day. And also followed the footpath down from Fern cafe to Crantock, which is well worth a visit. All in all we both had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning for another relaxing break.

Having to leave!!

The staff were amazing! Especially the general manager Chris! We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Chris was great at giving lots of ideas on walks/restaurants and hot spots during our stay. We stayed with our dog and we were pleasantly surprised how clean and lovely our room was! We had a superior side sea view room which was beautiful! The bed was very comfy able and the facilities in the room were fab! We really enjoyed the breakfast and also eating in the evenings. We would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely be returning

Amazing staff (hotel and restaurant). Beautiful room and breathtaking views. Will be back here again if we can

just being a bit picky given the price which puts it in the high end - no safe in the room (this is a critical one as we are foreign travellers and needed a place to store our passports for peace of mind). it’s a basic requirement these days in most quality hotels which I feel this is - xbox in child room was not working. No replacement available. only option was the get it repaired which was not worth the wait - we almost ate all our meals at the hotel restaurant during our two day stay. the food was a bit hit & miss but the attitude and kindness of the staff was the only reason we went back again and again.

Great location with a wonderful view over the sea. The lady at the reception desk was very helpful. We had no place to park upon arrival and she did her best to find a solution : and finally ask someone from the staff to move his own car. Dinner was also excellent.

The dining room was terribly noisy as it was crowded. A bit disappointed by the breakfast, was not at dinner’s level. Once served no one came to ask if we wanted anything else…
