Spotless cleaning plenty toilet paper very soft towels.

Staff spoke when spoken to but not much communication if regulars were in the bar, only spoke to serve you. No lift and no one to take luggage up to room very dated

It is located a 15 minute walk east from the town centre. The ensuite rooms were clean, with comfortable beds and very good wifi. Early check-in was much appreciated from the super efficient reception as it was flipping boiling in the late summer Indian heatwave which engulfed the UK ! There was a pop-up van up the road into town serving Thai street food in the evening - highly recommended. Great location for people walking the south west coastal path. I didn't have breakfast so can't comment about it's quality.

The room was very clean It had a TV and tea and coffee but the view was just amazing.The staff was very helpful and polite.

We didn't like the breakfast because of the hour(8:30-9:30) and because we are not a british breakfast fan.Maybe ,as a suggestion,you can add a little bit more options. Also,I was disappointed,because we stayed for 4 nights and we got just one little soap and 2 sachets of shower gel for 2 people. Also,it would be great if the reception area will get a little bit of improvement,make it more welcoming.The smell in that area is not great,smells cigarettes,and some plants will really change the look.

Check in was quick and easy, even let us park car as we arrived before check in. If room had been ready we could have checked in straight away, it wasn't but it wasn't a problem. Breakfast was plentiful and catered for vegetarians. Room was large enough and bathroom had bath along with a shower over it. Ample wardrobe and drawer space. Beds made every day for us, and room clean and tidy. Staff friendly

It was a big old building which is probably getting ready for a refresh, stairs carpet a little stained, bathroom could do with a lick of paint, toilet seat didn't match colour of toilet etc.... but overall for the money paid the hotel was as expected and would definitely stay there again

Breakfasts were lovely. No choice of where to sit which was disappointing as I was in an empty dining room on one occasion. Being told which table to sit at seemed a little odd, and no explanation was offered for this.

On arrival there wasn't anyone at the desk and I asked a question about check in to a member of staff who was passing by. I was greeted with a reply ''it's nothing to do with me''. Although a very helpful lady appeared at reception shortly afterwards - the very first impression of the hotel is the most important one.. which wasn't good.

The breakfast menu was good, fruit juice or cereal, full English eggs, bacon sausage tomato fried bread, hash brown and beans. Tea or coffee and toast. The towels were brilliant white and were changed every day. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us.

The communal stairs and corridors were well worn.

The staff at the Godolphin were very friendly and very welcoming with my family. The location of the hotel is very good only a 15 min walk into town and very straightforward.

Nothing really the could of been bit more parking spaces but that wasnt really possible for the hotel we parked on the street across but it wasn't anything major.

Was more than enough parking available when I arrived with no additional charge. Bed was comfy enough, toilet facilities I thought were good and shower was much better than I was used to stating at Hotels. Room was cleaned every day to a good standard. Staff were friendly. Fitted my main purpose, I was staying in Newquay for the transport links to other parts of Cornwall. Price was good for a 5 night stay. Bus to and from Truro stopped directly in front of hotel. Petrol station and convenience shops nearby.

My room was directly above the bar and whilst the noise from people in bar was okay the music was ridiculous, especially when peoples rooms were directly above, the bass from the music was so loud and uncomfortable and prevented me from sleeping, if it was not for the music I would scored comfort higher as the room and facilities were more than adequate, there was many rooms not above the bar so may be a more pleasant stay if you avoid this, just hope your not room 16. The town center and bus station is quite a march from the Hotel (But the scenery makes up for the walk)

booked a week but only had few days due to personal reasons what I will say is rooms kept clean and had everything in them for my needs shower brilliant and plenty hot water also coffee top up every day and a personal thanks to the cleaners I can't comment on bar or breakfast as I didn't bother I would stay again deffo

only slight issue but not a problem I was in single room above bar but my earbuds sorted that out

Breakfast was great. Served straight away..very friendly service. Cleaning staff were friendly. Always said good morning. Towels changed every day. We did have a problem with the electrics, but that was soon sorted

It can't be helped with where the hotel is sited, but the first night not being use to it the traffic being on a main road was noisy. Also being right above the pub didn't help
