The personal service from the person that greeted us at arrival was excellent. Very friendly and professional and also gave us lots of advice and local knowledge.

The hotel is in a great location and the rooms are a perfect size. The only thing that lets the place down is that it needs some TLC, and there are many services not available, like the restaurant (at the time of writing) If this was seen to, it would be the perfect place to stay. Having said that, we will return for sure.

The gent on reception was fantastic. The hotel is great value for money, nice sizeable room with modern bathroom. Fantastic location, nice little town down the road.

The odd bits here and there that could do with extra cleaning, like the radiators. Bed was immaculate though. Didn't ask about the closed facilities. I heard there was a bar, restaurant and swimming pool at some point. Shame they aren't available. But either way, room alone it was good value.

Appreciated the upfront explanation that after Covid the restaurant would be closed, so we were prepared. The location is good for restaurants and shops in Blaby. Coffee and tea making facilities in the room were plentiful. Room was clean and spacious. Great welcome and explanation of key card, security and caretaker on premises.

The grounds and building felt a little abandoned after Covid.

Room was clean and comfortable. Reception was friendly and helpful. Slept well.

Unfortunately the hotel is running on minimum staff level so no restaurant or breakfast. But I knew this before I arrived.. Parking outside reception is available but the front needs some tlc.

Perfectly situated for our stay. Easy access. Car park. Warm room - but with an actual opening window (unusual these days). Lovely shower.

Some facilities were not available as advertised. Lounge bar, for example. Not a problem for us, but perhaps the hotel literature should be updated.

Good location for what I needed, good communication, friendly staff, adequate WiFi, extra pillows, comfy beds, free tea coffee and biscuits

Basic things run down like toilet seat, cracks in the walls. Spider webs and dust hanging from ceiling

Excellent stay. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Our twin room was out of order so they gave us a double and a single for the same price! Great location and nice quiet room.

Some slight staining on the ceiling - likely from a previous leak. Not an issue for us, but maybe should be painted over!

Well laid out room, clean bathroom, warm, comfy bed. Liked the bay window area.

Would of liked the option of breakfast, but knew in advance it was room only. Bay window are could do with a clean/re-paint

price was very good,cafe is 1 min away if you want a breakfast,local pubs 1 mins ,stayed fri and sun,but they let me leave my stuff in the room rather than check out and back in again,no complaints at all,deff will be staying again

Sadly breakfast was not available just now, The room was spacious with lots of storage table and chairs with several lamps, decent size tv. Massive bath and strong shower. Plenty of tea coffee and biscuits. Only one minor complaint. See next box

My only moan was the freeview. Took forever to load and several channels would not load
