Beautiful setting in a little village. Very easy to locate! The atmosphere was fantastic, very relaxed, the room was very comfortable and quiet, we had everything we needed, including exceptional tea bags!! Loved the outdoor seated area with handcrafted blankets and cushions. The food was very good, wonderful bread basket with breakfast! Thank you Andrew and Ian for your warm welcome. Also a big shout out to Becky and Toby great service behind the bar and waiting on us, we loved to chat! The bonus of a quiz night on Sunday was great fun! Well done Elvis/Neil 😁 We felt truly spoilt on a birthday weekend to visit the IWM Duxford. We would very much love to stay again. 🙏

I have absolutely nothing negative to report! 👍

A great looking pub with a separate accommodation block which has been designed to fit in with the overall appeal of the pub and outside seating/ lounge area. The staff were friendly and informative, the owner Andrew was an excellent host and makes you feel very welcome. The food was also very good ( evening meal and continental breakfast) Should I find myself in the area again I would not hesitate to stay here again. I liked the fact that there are only four en suite rooms , I believe this added to the whole appeal of my stay.

I can’t say that I have any dislikes and if I had to be super picky , all I could say is that I enjoy a powerful shower but the showers in the room were at normal pressure so I can’t hold them responsible for my needs.

Charming, quaint English village. The BarleyCorn had all modern amenities with updated bathrooms in a pub/bed and breakfast which is over 400 years old! You got a real sense of living in an English Village. The Innkeeper and Owner-Andrew was charming and provided great recommendations for visiting the sites in the village. Pub food for dinner was good and wine selections and beer were also good! If you are going to Imperial War Museum at Duxford -I recommend a stay here, closer than Cambridge and not crowded at all. Chance to experience English Country life of a by-gone era.

Good food, cozy room, nice staff and a lovely village to explore as well as being within walking distance of the Duxford Imperial War Museum. Breakfast was really nice since I was half expecting a beans on toast situation. Luckily a variety of breakfast options were laid out and all of it was delicious! The room came with a heater and TV as well as a kettle with tea bags, chocolate milk and coffee.

Shower pressure was rather low. Could still clean myself with the drizzle of water that came out so I don't think that's a big issue.

Lovely, quiet location. Location was fabulous, especially as I was visiting IWM Duxford for my part in the GAvA exhibition. Felt a more personable place than the standard 'PremierTravel-Inn'... Lovely touch to be offered a coffee (gratis) in the garden when I turned up. I felt I was given the personal touch - felt welcome.

Can't think of anything! Apart from saying it would have been two nights but I'd made a mistake with my booking!!

The room was easy to access, it was comfortable, warm and clean. The manager was welcoming and most of the staff were lovely. We ate there both evening we stayed and the food was tasty, the waitress on the second evening was a joy.

Breakfast stopped a 9.00, which did not suit us at all, we were on a break not working. I went down the first morning to get some breakfast but it was a very limited. Did not bothered going the second morning!

we liked it all but there was just a few small things to note.j. didn’t know that the first two nights there was a very limited menu. no tissues in bathroom and few toiletries.. shower floor got wet and didn’t dry so padded about on wet floor. nowhere to hang clothes in bathroom. and no suitcase rack in room. had to put cases on floor.

Lovely thatched pub with rooms in their own Annex. Lovely evening meal & continental breakfast enough to set you up for the morning. Lovely friendly staff & owner.

Mattress could do with being replaced, as springs were a bit uncomfortable, shower not very powerful (Room 2). Speaking to the owner the rooms are the next thing to be overhauled after taking over the pub last year.

Set in a lovely quiet village (Duxford) with a great pub restaurant for evening meal & continental breakfast. Room was clean, quiet, comfortable & well equipped. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Great customer service. Good car park with plenty of spaces.

Not overly cheap for a B&B with continental breakfast, but overall good value & an enjoyable stay.

The thatched roof pub was very old which added a nice ambience to the stay. The bar was cosy and friendly with a good choice of reasonably priced bar food. The car park at the rear of the pub had plenty of space. The bed was comfortable.

The rooms were pretty small and basic but to be fair, were spotlessly clean with what looked like a new bathroom.
