Hazler Lodge0

The lodge is beautiful, clean and extremely well provisioned. The toiletries and having fire TV were excellent. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast hamper was great. A lovely table in the sun and board games were also very welcome.

If you didn't have a car it would be a long walk to the nearest restaurant/the train station. Also just FYI if you follow Google maps it takes you to the top of Hazler road which isn't the directions provided by the host, and the location is approximately 4 houses in and labelled green acre (signs for this aren't particularly obvious either)

The breakfast provided was cereal and toast to self-cater and was fine. Washing up was a little difficult as there was no water supply in the kitchen area, but we managed with the provided washing up bowl. It was nice to have a bedroom, living area and bathroom with its own front door. Lovely setting.

The heating by electric radiators meant the place was cold to start with and the bathroom radiator didn't come on so it was cold. Shower did take a really long time to run hot. Everything else was fine.

Bridget and her husband have created a home from home feel to the lodge. They have thought of everything. My partner and I enjoyed our stay with its home comforts and beautiful surroundings. The town with shops , pubs, restaurants and the Carding Mill Valley walk is just a short distance away. The breakfast hamper was a lovely touch. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect space in a really pretty setting. Breakfast of cereals and or toast, juice, rltea and coffee and the homemade marmalade was really delicious. Very comfortable

Just had a little problem funding it as it is Greenacre not labelled Hasler Lodge on the gate. I hadn't read the email though as hadn't done booking.com before snd information was in the email

Stayed at Hazler Lodge for one night during my motorbike trip. I was pleasantly surprised. The room was really nice, and everything was thought of, and I mean everything. I was constantly surprised that whatever I thought I may need, was already prepared/sorted/described. The location is nice and quiet, but still close to the town. 20 minutes' walk to find some good food - and everything is written in the booklet in your room. This was very helpful guide.

Ther was nothing that I would not like.

It was homely and well thought. It has everything you need - raincoats, torch, umbrella and some other things you usually dont bother to bring. The bedroom is spacious full of heaters. The living room is so cozy and you wouldnt even want to leave. It was a lovely place to stay and so peaceful. The place is just 10-15 walk to the town center and walking distance to the scenic places like Caer Caradoc. Walking towards Carding Mill Valley and the Long Mynd is quite a distance but its enjoyable. Bridgitte is a fantastic owner amd she makes sure you are home away from home.

None. Although there’s no kitchen sink, it doesn’t bother us. There is a sink in the bedroom so its all good.

It was like a home away from home, separate lounge/bedroom. The bed is really big, super king and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and the extra little touches throughout the property ie., toiletries were a lovely touch.

The location was further away from the town centre that I had expected. It was not walkable on the night, it is up a steep hill.

IT IS PEACEFUL AND OVERLOOKS A PRIVATE GARDEN,GOOD BASE FOR SIGHTSEEING

Just simple ingredients to prepare own breakfast some rations less than generous. Especilly butter and marmalade. Everything in the accomodation was thoughtful and prepared in an attracive way. Plus provision of wet weather gear and lovely garden to look out on or sit in.

Unfotunately the room that was a kitchen/diner/lounge didn't have a sink so washing up was not very easy or satisfactory

Very comfortable, bright and spacious bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette and garden terrace overlooking beautiful scenery with a view of Caer Caradoc. Very helpful information available which prompted us to discover and enjoy both Church Stretton and the adjacent carding mill valley with its inspiring walks.
