Daniel the receptionist made our stay trutly exceptional he turned a standard hotel weekend break into a wonderful holiday, because of this we ended up upgrading to a suite and extended our stay for another two nights.

No separate way to get to your room for residents. You have to walk through the restaurant/bistro

Daniel was absolutely second to none, nothing was any trouble at all and I really felt I was as I had any 7 month old and pram in tow that needed carried up the stairs. Daniel really made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout my stay and have already booked another night in Beechlawn. thank you so much Daniel!!

The staff were all very friendly particularly the gentleman on reception. A homely hotel in its design quiet and yet busy with customers. The food was fantastic deserves higher than 3 star hotel rating for this! only a short spin into city centre and good caroark at hotel.

There isn’t a pool or spa but the relaxed atmosphere in this hotel you won’t miss this aspect!!

I stayed with a family member for an event which was being held there, it was a great experience. The room was beautiful and clean, lovely modern bathroom with rain shower (although i didnt manage to figure out how to switch the water to the larger shower head) Very comfortable beds, quiet rooms i forgot it was on a main road thanks to the good soundproofing on the windows. We got dinner & drinks and the food was delicious and very reasonbly priced, the staff were so helpful and friendly even though they were run off their feet couldnt fault them at all they were lovely. Very easy to get a taxi from there to the train station, one of the cab companies has a facility at the reception desk where you request a taxi & it arrived promptly. The location suited me, it was about 15 mins in a taxi outside of the city but we wernt going to site see around the city so the location was perfect. I would definatly return and recommend the hotel to others.

loved the property, everything was beautiful, staff were lovely checking in & out and again when we went to the bar at the end of the night. Room was gorgeous & everything was there, had no issues at all with any of these

staff at breakfast were not very friendly at all, first we were moved to a smaller table which we didn’t mind but after that everything felt rushed & just a case of get our order & get us out, which I would understand if it was really busy but it wasn’t, we were given tea & coffee them we ordered, waitress wasn’t very friendly at all, we ordered a fry each & some toast, toast came out 5 mins after we ordered & the fry came out 10mins after that at this point the toast was cold, good wasn’t good & the egg was done with a hard yolk, we weren’t asked what way we would like it, no one came to the table to ask if everything was okay, to be honest I wish we had have skipped breakfast

I've stayed in this hotel a few times now because I have family in Belfast. I already know before I stay here that I am going to enjoy my time here because the staff always go above and beyond for us. Its such a nice atmosphere from start to finish in the hotel. The food in the hotel is really nice and the rooms are really nice too. The first time we stayed here we were upgraded to the suites with the balcony's which we really liked. The price was much better than the other hotels in the area. The last time we stayed our room was behind the bar which we liked too because my mam suffers with sciatica and sometimes the stairs and be a pain for her so this suited us also felt we couldnt hear the band and music from our room which was also great! We will be back again for sure.

The rooms were very hot when we stayed in the hotel in the summer, however we only realized ourselves how to switch the heating off in the room the last time we stayed. This was probley the only thing I could fault the hotel on and also the fact there's no pool for the children in my family, which is why we stayed in another hotel in the past. But the hotel seems family friendly otherwise.

Staff were very friendly, room spotless, food excellent.

Some waiting staff didn't know what veg of the day or roast was on menu, and she wasn't inclined to find out when asked. Staff should be familiar with the full menu before approaching tables for orders. We were also sitting down for ages before anyone even gave us a menu. Could be more attentive to patrons. However, I'm being picky and I'd definitely stay again. Value for money it was excellent. And reception staff were very informative and helpful and so friendly. The hotel could use a lift and it didn't specify this on the site when booking. People with mobility issues would need to know this before booking.

Staff very pleasant and helpful. Liked that the Hand sanitisers are out.Should be permanent. People are forgetting their hand hygiene again.

Having to go through extremely busy restaurant to get to our room.. Didn't like the view of the bins! Could they not be screened off? Room very warm but there seemed to be a smell from an incinerator or was it the bins when opened the windows. Also struggled with the soap dispensers in the room because of arthritis in my hands. Plunger type would be more accessible.
