Kaomai Lanna Resort

Very special place. I love what they have made out of this former tobacco estate. I changed room because of the matress being very firm and some barhrooms have been refurbished, others are dated. Lovely, very nice staff at reception allowing me to checknin early. Same at the Cafe and restaurant. This place is perfect to settle down after a road trip or prior to your flight. "Real coffee" in the room bar to brew a cup which makes a nice change to the Nescafe stuff you find elsewhere. Nice cake at the Cafe and dinner was really good. Since I was the only guest for dinner they set up a table for me outside in the garden where I was trated to some really nice Thai food served by the chef. Really enjoyed my short stay!

Can hardly mention anyrhing beside the bathroom of my second room needing a refurbishment.

The restaurant has great food and many delicious local dishes. Beautiful view and chill The staff are friendly and helpful Have their own coffee and tea in room

Have ants in the room Quite boring on a weekday Too far from the center, so the taxi fee is too high if we want to go back to the city It will be better if the resort has a transportation partner, so that customers can move to the center at a better price

The location in an old tobacco farm is very interesting with very beautiful trees throughout the estate. The accommodaton is quite simple but very quiet and full of atmosphere. There is a lso a good pool.

The only downside is that the resort does not have a restarant open after 6pm. We had a car so could drive out and find somewhere locally to have dinner but without your own transport you are a bit limited for something to eat in the evening.

Fantastic renovation of a historical site with bedrooms incorporated into previous tobacco leaf drying silos. Really interesting interpretation museum and great architecture incorporating a cafe, tea house and restaurant.

The entrance and exit roads were in made and could do with improving

Breakfast — standard, but not impressive. Bedroom curtains don't block the sunlight.

Not well kept unfortunately, a bit tarnished room not in good condition especially the toilet, shower is slow and not warm enough make it very cold The property is 5 stars but service is just fair .

The property itself is amazing. Coming from Chiang Mai city we were looking to spend a weekend in a green area, the place was stunning ! We got a room upgrade, the staff was amazing ! We’ll definitely come back.

It would be nice if the restaurant could offer some vegetarian options !

Clean and good environment. Nice place. Spacious room

Bad manage. Low capacity of services. Check in time 14:00, I be there almost 16:00 but rooms aren’t available. We waited at the nice cafe with compensate drink. And I have to call them myself to check room finished. Breakfast in morning, very limit of space and food preparation. Crowned of guess waited for food serving both order menu and buffet area.

Its amazing place. Unesco Heritage. Very special place! Green well kept gardens. So much to see! And vegetarian food!
