Centara Villas Samui - SHA Plus

Beautiful views, lovely pool area. Has a great private, clean beach with plenty of loungers. The restaurant is right near the beach and pool. Staff were very friendly. They provide a shuttle into the nearby shopping areas, at a cost per person.

This hotel was great, however, it seemed very cut off from everything. We came to experience the culture and see the sights on our own (not having to rely on shuttles), whereas we found this hotel to be one that appeared to have people staying in it that just wanted somewhere to lie in the sun. No judgement to those people, and if that's what you're looking for, then this place is perfect! We came to explore the sights, however this hotel did not offer scooter hire and even discouraged it in their welcome letter. It was a beautiful resort and I would recommend highly, however, not if you want to get out of the resort and explore.

Beautiful resort, clean room, big comfortable bed, nice swimming pools. Very good buffet breakfast compare to others in Thailand.

Unfortunately had very bad experience. Safe wasnt working and because we have a small baby, we didnt have time to manage it on the reception. So my husband left his wedding ring on the table in the room in the morning. When we came back in the afternoom, ring wasnt there, so it had must been stollen by cleaner. I know its my husband mistake, but still. So be really carefull about your belongings! :( Beach is not worth it. Very expensive taxi service.

location and villas were nice

with the exception of one of the front office staff who was great. the other receptionists were unhappy , not helpful and looked like they hated their jobs. valets and porters and cleaning staff were great.

The beach front location was excellent, the variety of food for breakfast was great, the 3 pools were great although we only swam in one of them. The staff are brilliant, very friendly & helpful.

The steps up & down to the room & facilities were a huge problem. If you have a problem with mobility this is not the place for you. we had 103 steps from the room to the eating area.

The rooms with private swimming pools are very nice and comfy, I really appreciate them. You’re in a sort of paradise, while listening birds and waves, is amazing

They give you money ( like 3€ ) if you decide to not change the towels and stuff and it seemed me nice. But the value they give to you is only usable the same day which seems pretty much an idea to let you consume the dinner inside. There were days we neither was there the entire day and it was impossible to use it, and when they gave us this value and we didn’t use it because it was of the day before it seemed a little poorly behaviour after spending 1500€ there.

The place is beautiful and the gardens are well maintained. The room was spacious and clean, there were no insects. The shuttle bus to Lamai and Chaweng is good and punctual. Breakfast was good, and served as early as 6.30, which is perfect for early birds. Secluded location if that's what someone is looking for. There are 3 swimming pools to choose from. The staff was very friendly. Free kayaks were great. They have beach dinners and fireshow from time to time and organized some activities for Easter:)

The beach and premises were not maintained properly. There was some trash, plastic bottles, masks. Someone could have just pick it up in the morning. Also the surroundings of the beach are not great - there are some leftover construction materials etc. If the hotel takes care of that, it will be perfect. The location is far away from everything and there is no nightlife anywhere near. One last thing - curtains could be provided in the rooms. The light coming from outside is very intense and goes through the wooden shades.

It is located close to the beach but it's a little far from other facilities like supermarket (15~20min walk). The Hotel has a free taxi service once a day to the supermarket though. If you are looking for somewhere quiet, it is recommended.

The rooms were beautiful and clean. The bathroom was huge, I loved it! The location was spectacular, the beach and the water were amazing.

Too many stairs and a bit confusing to get back to the room. There wasn’t a water dispenser for the guests, 99% of the hotels/resorts I have stayed at have one. One bottle of water was provided per guest daily but that’s not enough for one person in such hot weather. Our dinner or lunch order was never was we had ordered, the waitresses didn’t understand enough English, not sure if the waitress or the kitchen was messing up the order.

The moment our van approached the entrance of Centara Villas Samui, each family members felt “Yes! Holidays begins!”. Friendly team members welcomed us to an open air lobby with tamarind tea and sticky palm sugar + durian candies. We are 4 adults and 2 children and stayed at the deluxe spa rooms which comes with a cute little Santorini inspired porch, clean and beautiful wooden interior rooms, comfortable beds with a window couch and the best of all a balcony with a jacuzzi!!!! They offer 3 lovely pools with plenty of sun chairs, towels. The landscape was simply stunning with flower plants. A private beach was our hangout place and they offer complimentary kayaks for the guests to use. We ate there almost every night and look forward to the different theme nights they offered. They really did a good job to welcome Christmas and New Year Eve (unfortunately we could not experience this as their rooms were already fully booked for the 31 Dec). Delicious local and fusion dishes. Breakfast spread was also good and they make an effort to change the menu every day. We enrolled in the cooking class and was very happy to cook 4 local dishes for lunch. Definitely impressed with the efforts taken by the Chef to teach us the Thai Cuisine. And when you are at Centara, you need to relax those muscles and go for the well-deserved massage and manicure and pedicure at their spa. Thank you Centara Villas Samui for offering my family an oasis away from the heavily touristed crowd. Your place was the perfect place for us to laze and relax and find calmness. Your team members were always friendly, helpful and attentive. We look forward to come back :)

Wished we could have stayed longer! Please make your reservations early. We were not able to secure the rooms for stays between 30th through to new year as they were fully booked!

The staff was extremely nice and warm to all guests. The resort is huge, you can get lost in it. There are three pools and a lot of activities offered including spa, massages. The breakfast is huge and a vast selection. Good menus for lunch and dinner with affordable prices. The resort is literally a paradise where you can relax. We also booked a romantic dinner at the beach during the sunset, that was just amazing. You could choose both Thai or western menu, we decided to try the Thai menu. It was delicious.

The sea is not the best in Thailand, as you normally would expect. But it was anyway very nice. It was worth for the nice stay in the resort. What I did not like was that when we booked a boat trip to Koh tao we were not advised that we would be charged extra for booking through hotel. Even though we understand it, we still found it unprofessional for not advising. Also all activities prices they promote never include service charge and/or vat which will be in the final price.
