Crystal Bay Beach Resort

This was a great choice for our Samui experience. The location is incredible - honestly the best beach in Samui for chilling. It seems especially good for families. We had a room with a sea view which exceeded our expectations (you can actually see the sea & hear it from the bed <3). In addition to the fantastic beach, you can also enjoy a decent pool and the terrace. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Excellent wifi everywhere and parking is available. You also get a 10% discount at a nearby beachfront restaurant. Bonus points for the cute pets roaming around.

The room felt a bit worn down, but nothing too bad. We experienced some bad sewage smells, but the staff found an intermediary solution (I do hope this will be fixed in the future - it's a real shame). The pool could be cleaned more often. Also, the breakfast comes at an additional charge, and it's nothing too impressive. Some nearby restaurants and cafes offer better options.

The beachfront location. The service provided by the manager. I showed him some issues in the bathroom (shower head sprayed out on to the floor and was fixed a foot lower than my head (i'm tall). he understood. when we came back from a day out, they had installed a brand new head with adjustable height rail - perfect. The waiter staff at breakfast were really excellent, especially Min. The food was a good standard. The cleaning staff were friendly and responsive.

This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed. Great rooms and hotel on what has to be the best beach on the island…we love it here.

This resort suited my needs perfectly although I must caution that I am not a mainstream person. I would stay here again by choice if I visit Koh Samui again.

The facilities have become a bit dated but were otherwise perfectly suited to my needs. The pool is small and there is only one lounger but if its the beach you seek who cares?

Janthe at the reception has Great English and is very personable and efficient! This helped make our stay here so much more pleasant. Location at the quieter end of Crystal Beach is great. Room and bathroom are a good size. Items broken in our room at check-in were fixed immediately. Easy to catch songtaws into town. This end of the beach stays cleaner.

At first I was concerned about our room A4 being right beside the pool and the restaurant being in too busy of a location but it was fine. I thought that the loungers in the hotel pictures were for everyone to use but most are designated for specific rooms. This ended up not being a problem as we were always able to get a couple. Our bed and pillows were quite hard. If you are a light sleeper the traffic noise, right behind the hotel, will bother you. During stormy weather much debris and garbage on the beach. Fortunately it's continuously cleaned.

The beach view is truly exceptional. The hotel is nested in a little bay, overlooking rocks and a beautiful sandy beach. All facilities are within minutes reach (7-eleven convenience store, bike renting, restaurants, money exchange/ATM etc.). The hotel is about 30 min drive from the airport and the lively Chaweng area. It is ideally located between Chaweng and Lamai. There are several box matches a week in Chaweng (2 stadium).

The food served at the hotel (I had only one breakfast) is not to European standard, which is regrettable considering the location, which is perfect, the staff, which is adorable, and the rooms, which are large/comfy (often with ocean view) and super clean. It's not a big problem as there are many options closeby of great quality. But it's definitely not an asset of this otherwise great venue.

Amazing location, massage available, the pizza is incredible and the room was great! We loved our "pet geckos". Really nice cocktails and literally a see of steps away from the most beautiful beach! Would be great if there was a snorkel guide available to name the fish and corals. We stayed for four nights with the intention of doing a little exploring, but we needed up staying at this beach our entire stay. We went to the fire show at the other side of the beach and also highly recommend tips tacos which is within walking distance!

Not a problem with the hotel as a problem with the island..... The bathroom often smelled due to the sewage system.

All staff was super helpful and friendly. Last minute request for extra bed attended promptly with further discounted rate. Super large clean room and near to the beach. Location was good as it was in between Lamai and Chaweng Beach. But you may need not to go elsewhere for the beach and sea as the resort have the best beach to enjoy with white sand and clear water. Perhaps to check the sea conditions prior visit as our stay was during quite strong wind hence the wave quite big but still safe for water activity.

Perhaps the parking area. Understandable the space was limited for the resort to provide parking inside the resort, but there are space across the road available and safe for parking.

Room was right on the beach. Really beautiful views. Sleep to the waves crashing again the coast. Bed was huge and comfy.

It is a bit out of the way from everything. There's a few nice restaurants around but nothing major going on during the day. That was perfect for us as we just stayed for a couple days break during travelling but may not be for everyone.
