Kokotel Khao Lak Lighthouse - SHA Extra Plus

The bed was the best! The bedding/linens were clean, crisp and new! The mattress pad was exceptionally comfy! Loved the pool and the ocean view. Breakfast was hot and enough for 2 people. Also, thank you for providing us with a bag of rice for my husband's phone after the long day of traveling in the pouring rain.

There was a BIG cockroach in our shower! Sorry, I really didn't want to mention it, but, eek, I really don't like bugs in my hotel room! Also the emeegency flash light didn't work. In an emergency.... we would have been in the dark.

The staff were lovely and we had a super room. It is just too touristy resort for me altogether but if that’s your thing then this is perfect.

The breakfast is an outdoor affair. The restaurant is just like a beach bar and the food gets cold quite quickly. Good varied choice though.

Great location on the beach, easy, short walk to restaurants in town, breakfast each morning was great right next to the beach. The room was clean and no mosquitos inside. The sunsets were beautiful and it was quiet at night. The pool was the perfect temperature to help cool down with the warm weather. There was even massage available on the beach right by the resort. Would stay here again.

Scheduling the taxi from the airport. I booked the roundtrip taxi from Phuket airport for 3600 TBH. After paying and getting confirmation from the resort via email, someone tried to contact me directly through WhatsApp and said they worked for the resort and the airport transfer should be free. I contacted the resort and they notified me that scammers are taking information and they trying to get direct payment through WhatsApp. Luckily nothing bad happened, but just want other travelers to be aware of current scams.

First of all, a hotel on a beautiful sandy seashore. The beach is very clean. Lots of beautiful Instagram spots. A long beach, it is very pleasant to walk both in the morning and in the evening. The hotel itself has a modern industrial interior. Small but very cozy. Staff with a smile and very helpful. Breakfast for picky eaters, minimal, but definitely enough. If you want more, the main street is full of cafes. Right next to the hotel is an unreal cafe with excellent cuisine and very favorable prices. Next door - laundry, travel agency. Best greetings ! Recomend 100%

Check in was easy and the staff friendly and always happy to help. Like everywhere the "lost" 2 years due to COVID effected the local area, however the hotel is certainly looking good and the whole area of Khao Lak picking up and seeing an increase in visitors. My room was great and the bed one of the most comfortable I've slept on.

My trip was primarily for scuba diving, the operators I went with at Wetzone were great and the boat operated well. I didn't get to see a Whale Shark my only complaint. Simply means I will have to come back again and stay at Kokotel !

The staff were excellent and the room had everything you need. The rooms were lovely, spacious with kettle, good wifi. Breakfast was buffet and plentiful.

Unfortunately my room was 116 which was right beside the pool and with the floor to ceiling windows there was no privacy from those sitting around the pool. Previously I stayed in another room and it was great so my recommendation is avoid the pool view ground floor rooms.

great seaview family room. close to the pool and to the sea. very friendly staff at reception and at the Coconut restaurant. room was cleaned daily with care and pool was also clean and nice. good breakfast with Thai and continental food. great Happy Hour at the bar with funny barkeepers. food at the restaurant was also tasty.

more sunbeds also in the beautiful garden would be nice. more shady tables at breakfast.

My Husband and I were here during covid pandemia on January 2022. It was very quiet everywhere and many places were still closed but we loved our stay. This hotel is perfect if you seek a peaceful and relaxin holiday. Best things: - Amazing view from our terrace, straight to sea and beach. Small Buddhist Temple between there, so no noise at all. - Comfy bed, not too hard - No mosquito or other insect problem ( of course always few, but that's ok) - Good water pressure - Clean rooms - Basic small gym (stepper, exercise bike, treadmill, free weights) whit sea and palm view, enough to keep you in some shape. - Big supermarket walking distance 10-15 minutes or 2 minutes by Taxi ( 100 baths one way) - Many nice restaurants near. Highly recommend the next door Cafe' O Bar, it looks like wretched but food ( we only had Thai food) is excellent. Family who runs the cafe is so kind. They prepared delicious vegan food whit tofu when we understood to ask it. - Also Laundry next door, 60 bath/ kg. Good quality. - Nice beautiful beach where you can have long walks. We didn't swim so can't comment that. - Friendly staff and they speak english good enough.

We loved it so much that are coming back next year. But few things to know: - This might not be the best hotel if you are a party animal. - If you have kids maybe some other hotel is better, the pool and area around it is quite small.

we, we liked the industrial look of the room, all the facilities we needed, cold, filtered water, available, lovely, big pool, and super friendly, helpful staff. The breakfast was good. We really enjoyed our stay.

The beach had some rubbish in front of it, maybe it would be nice to remove that today to make it more appealing. Definitely not a dealbreaker, or the beachfront resorts will have to deal with this.

I loved everything about this property. my room had an ocean view, it was clean, comfortable and perfect for me to work remotely. The staff were lovely and really helpful when needed. The beach was perfect for swimming and it was very convenient having a minimart and a tour shop so close.

The internet wasn’t strong enough for me to teach so I had to hotspot off my phone.
