Vacation Village Phra Nang Inn - SHA Extra Plus

Beautiful pool and area kept very clean. An older style facility but well maintained and very comfortable. Good breakfast though repetitive,. AC was perfect, Right on the beach. A lovely view for morning breakfast and coffee. Over all an excellent location in the middle of things but still quiet at night.

I would stay here again for sure. The hotel must work hard to maintain aging facilities to the highest state of clean and good repair. If pets are permitted they should not be allowed to bark and disturb other guests.

The location is perfect during the day for the beach and in the night for some nightlife, as there are plenty of cafés, bars and restaurants within a 5 minute walk; Krabi town itself (as well as the immigration office) is about 25 minutes away. The rooms are very spacious and well insulated, including a sofa in addition to the bed. The staff are very sweet and attentive to their guests' needs, and breakfast is lovely, with lots of choice (both Western and Thai). I'd definitely go back!

The building itself is a bit run down and old, with some maintenance or, even better, refurbishing, it would be more in line with the other resorts in the area. Also, the rooms are clean, but the balconies aren't checked in between guests - in a corner I found a water bottle with some cigarette butts that were definitely not mine.

Very cute bohemic vibe. Superclose to the beach. Beautiful flowers, trees, and lightning in the evening at the pool area. It feels like your in the jungle. There are two pools, one big and one smaller. Staff were helpful whenever I asked for something. The main big pool area is VERY beautiful and dreamy. Perfect for families and kids. I was solo travelling but I enjoyed it. At the building close to the main pool area, you will get a terrace with cosy chairs outside where I was chilling almost everyday.

I got a bad room at first, I didnt think it was worth the money and got very disappointed. The staff helped me to get a better room, I had to pay a little extra though (not much). The hotel needs renovation. It’s old. If you are bothered by partying and music you might not like this hotel because its close to a street with bars. Music is loud at times in the evening. I didn’t mind though :) Bring repellant! A lot of mosquitos and other bugs in the Ao Nang area.

Perfect location, the hotel is right in front of the beach and you have everything you need around you, restaurants, stores, pharmacy, tours, transport. You can't have a better location in Ao Nang. Breakfast was very good and it is served in place with sea view, just perfect to wake up and have your first meal of the day looking to the ocean in front of you. Room was very nice, comfortable bed and pillows. Everything was very clean. The pool is also very good and despite you have a beach right in front the pool is better for cooling down in a hot day. WiFi was good enough. They arranged me a paid late check-out, which was convenient. I would definitely stay there again.

Staff at the reception could smile more, be friendlier. There was some mattresses spread in the lobby when I arrived causing a bad impression in a first moment. They should take more care to the details. Breakfast was good but I would only add more bread options, the ones available were very basic, something baked freshly would be really appreciated. The paid late check-out was convenient but expensive in comparison to the rate I was paying.

Excellent location. I got a room with a sea view. It was beautiful to wake to sea sound. I had a super heavy backpack and was looking for the closest location to Ao Nang Longtail Boat Service. It’s right outside, which was perfect. It was a nice little room and bathroom. I wasn’t looking for luxury, just something authentic. I don’t remember the name of the staff member who is doing night shifts, but he was super helpful. Special thank you to him:) The restaurant is with sea view, and I enjoyed having my breakfast there. Also, the hotel has a cute little bar, and they had a great singer on one evening. His performance was beautiful.

The property was clean. The floor had a bit of sand, but I think it’s normal for beach hotels as you can’t clean it properly without a vacuum cleaner. I had a good night's sleep, and everything was fine for me. Breakfast was very tasty, just a small selection.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The pool and breakfast area was amazing. The tours are cheaper to book at reception, especially when you're more than 2 people book yourself a private longboat. The location is absolutely perfect! You have a bus stop right outside, the breakfast area overlooks the beach and you just have to fall across the street to get the best fruit shakes and shawarma.

At one time there was sewage smell coming from the drain in the bathroom and toilet, which was uncomfortable. However it was gone a day later.

The location was perfect, directly opposite the beach and right at the far end of the strip. Staff were friendly, hotel was clean and breakfast was great. Each night the hotel had a singer who was very good. The restaurant had good food at reasonable prices. The pool was amazing with plenty of shade. One thing to note we stayed In The beach wing which was far nicer than the spa wing which was originally offered to us. The room was cleaned each day with fresh towels etc. Nothing to complain about really. Excellent value for the price.

Nothing not to dislike

Location, friendly people, enormous room, huge water pressure, great breakfast. Lovely pool and tropical setting.

Not the hotel's fault, but the beach is impossible to lay on, the sand stays wet and there is hardly any beach at high tide. A lot of materials were ready to be replaced, though it didn't really bother us. Balcony was horrible, small, looking upon a rood and virtually non existent

We spent 5 nights of our Christmas holiday here and loved our stay. This hotel has the best location! We had dozens and dozens of options for shopping, restaurants, and massage within a 5 minute walk. The beach and access to boats to the islands are right across the street from the hotel. The pool is absolutely gorgeous and cleaned twice daily, and due to the design of it there is a lot of room for lounging and swimming so it never felt crowded. One of the best parts of our stay was the incredible breakfast buffet. The menu changed slightly every day so we didn't get bored with our options and there was something for everyone (European and Asian cuisine, vegetarian and meat options, eggs made to order, fruits and vegetables, espresso machine, etc.). The restaurant faces the beach and it was a beautiful way to start each day! Our room was on the first floor and we had a small sitting area with pool access, which was great for a family with kids. We were very happy with the amenities for the price that we paid.

The room was fine but the bathroom could use a little extra attention (fresh paint, deep cleaning or replacing tiles, etc.). I'm sure it's a result of the pandemic that things were neglected for some time!
