Via Hotel Taipei Station

This hotel is really wonderful. The location is fantastic being in between Taipei Main station and Ximending. The staff are very thoughtful, helpful and friendly. I am really impressed with their service standards. The hotel also have a nice little cosy area at ground level where all sorts of drinks like coffee, tea and soda are served free flow. As well as some little Taiwanese snacks to savoir. All these items do not require additional payment. 😊 The hotel room is very cosy, concise and pretty utilitarian esp the toilet bowl that's controlled by a panel for seat heating, bidet, etc. The shampoo and shower gel smells of nice essential oil that made me feel like i am in a spa during shower. The room is also pleasantly clean and has no weird smell at all. The TV is also pretty big. There is also a mini fridge for guests to use. I have no doubts I will be returning to this hotel whenever I am in Taipei. Excellent choice!! Well done ❤️

I love that snack and beverages are unlimited during our stay. Reception is very accommodating especially Spencer. Linens are changed daily and the room are neat everyday.

Got 24 hrs free snack bar at lobby level. Hotel very accessible to Taipei Main Station and convenient stores.

Clean room, large king size beds, extremely comfortable beddings and mattress. We had a large family size room with TV seating area. Hotel provides complimentary water, coffee, ice cream, pudding, snacks/instant noodles. Conveniently located close to everything; MRT, Taipei Main Station, convenient stores, shopping districts, restaurants, markets, you name it, it's within walking distance from this hotel. We like it here so much this is our second stay within 6 months of visiting Taipei. We will most like to stay here again next time when we visit. On-site laundry facility is a great bonus for family travel.

There's really nothing that we don't like about this hotel...but to be honest, is it asking too much to have complimentary breakfast?? (hint hint)

Upon arrival, the staff were really nice and friendly and they also allowed us to check-in earlier than the usual check-in time. I was more impressed by how the whole place itself was constantly clean and the housekeeping did an excellent job for our room everyday. There is also 24-hr pantry where you can have their local snacks, water, drinks, instant noodles, coffee, tea and even soft-serve ice-cream anytime you want and it's unlimited. We did have a minor issue with the water leaking from the AC from our ceiling but the staff were very attentive to it and sorted it out within the morning. Location was also great! There is a family mart, 7/11 convenience shop as well as Watsons right around it. And Ximending walking district is only about 10 minutes walk away max. The hotel is also located right in between two MRT stations also about 10 minutes walk away for both so you can easily access to the blue, green and red line and explore the rest of Taipei City. Overall, a wonderful stay and I would definitely come back whenever I return to Taipei.

Not really a huge issue but the rooms were on the smaller side if you are used to bigger rooms. But it was still okay for both me and mum with 2 rather large luggage.

Room - spacious, amenities were great. Room had a mini massager, and a rainforest shower head. The toilet is also high-end, with seat warmer and bidet. The bathroom had drying/air circulation functions as well. Snacks are provided on the ground floor, and different types were provided for you to try. There is also two massage chairs available in the basement. Staff were understanding and helpful - they allowed me to use the massage chairs when it was raining outside, even after I've checked out.

Room was on the pricier side, but I would definitely stay here again.

Nice staff, welcoming and friendly. Location is perfect with two metro lines within walking distance and lots of shops, restaurants and culture. The room was of an adequate size with bathroom with nice walk in shower, good cleaning, free snacks downstairs.

The bed was only 1.90 x 140cm, which is not of international standards, especially when staying with two. Even for me staying alone, being 1.94cm tall, this meant it was not comfortable. Furthermore my room on the back of the building had multiple airco's on the outside, which meant the continuous sound of buzzing day and night.

Breakfast is prepared in the dining room but i didn't eat because I woke up late. Drinks are available 24 hours a day. I love it very much. The hotel is near the train station so I can easily travel to other places. The area around the hotel There are many shopping malls and markets. My room wide and clean Decorated in European style and has internet, TV. It's very convenient

The air conditioner system in my room is quite hot. The room is not soundproof. I could hear people talking all the time especially in the morning. It was heard very clearly and annoying. Because I'm a late sleeper and always wake up quickly when I hear loud noises.

Room is clean. What I like most is the massage equipment in room. That is very helpful for us after walk all day. Another thing that more than expectation is Lost and found process. I forgot my watch in room after i checked out, in the afternoon I reveived mail from hotel that they found the watch and ask me if I need it. Now I am on process to get it back. I am so appreciate for this honest.

There is a snack and drink bar that offers a variety of local snacks, chinese teas, coffee, ice-cream, etc. There are also massage chairs available. All these are free. Location is about 15mins walk from Taipei Main Station; there are a lot of food, malls around the area. Staffs are helpful and give good advise on how to get around.

The weather is extremely hot and stuffy during these period of time. Walking around will make you sweat like crazy. Not the fault with the facility, probably the effect of global warming.
