Bouti City Capsule Inn

Probably the best hostel stay ever in my life (and I travel A LOT). The rooms are very spacious, the bed super comfy and big, with extra space for your things. In the bed 2 outlets and 2 lights. Bed duvet and pillow were great! The lockers were huge and everything front door, room and locker opens with the same card key. Super privacy thanks to the blinders. The bathroom and the rooms were exceptionally clean anytime! Bathrooms have shower gel and shampoo, hairdryer, hand soap and paper towels. The staff is super nice, they have a laundry room and two big common spaces with plenty of facilities, like water dispenser, tea and so on. Wifi works great. I REALLY recommend this place, if I come back to Taipei I’d definitely stay here again. Thanks!

My room was just by the street, for me no problem, coz I deep sleep and I use earplugs, but if you are a light sleeper the street could be noisy. There are rooms not facing the street though!

It's right across the street from the Z10 exit from the Taipei main station, so if it's raining you can get there underground. Lots of places to eat nearby.

Not a very "homey" atmosphere, but fulfilled the one night stay I needed before flying out.

location is great: excellent food, dessert, entertainment, and transportation options nearby. 5-10 minute walk to taipei main station, or the ximending area. liushandong for beef noodle is a block away, and a branch of the famous raohe market black pepper buns is literally around the corner. for persons of culture, animate is 2 blocks away. and for fitness folks, the tamsui river running/biking path is about 1km away.

maybe i've gotten spoiled by the japanese capsule hotels i stayed at a few days prior to staying here, but even foregoing nice amenities like public baths, this place was the only accommodation in my 2 week trip that did not provide a towel or slippers. luckily, i had brought my own.

great location! very central and close to taipei main station so it was easy to get around and go sightseeing; they had shower+toilet rooms and just toilet rooms available which i think was really convenient; there was lots of space in the beds which was really nice esp to prep stuff out for the next day; staff was also nice and they let me store my bags before check in

the facilities were a bit older & more used than the pictures on here but they weren’t bad at all

Good location, near Taipei main station. Lots of food nearby. Uniqlo, Daiso and Shinkong Mitsubishi nearby if you need to buy clothes and toiletries urgently. The shared bathroom is quite unique, each "cubicle " has a sink, toilet and shower area so it is very convenient, got racks to put clothes and towel and do not have to worry about them getting wet. Dorm bed was comfortable enough and clean.

Surrounding area can be quite dark at night. That said, it still feels safe to walk through.

The main train station is only 5 Minute walk from the hostel. The neighborhood has many restaurants, convenient stors, bubble tea...everything you need within reach, especially the Ningxia Night Market is only 10 mins away on foot. There are enough shared bathrooms that you do not have to wait for your turn to take a shower. The bed is clean and comfortable and people respect your space and keep quiet so you still feel good in a big room with other girls.

Nice place, good location - near Taipei main station & Taoyuan airport MRT. Staffs are kind & willing to change bed when I asked for. Bed is comfortable & rather wide, you can put things on the bed ledge, locker is wide enough for both a carry-on suitcase and a backpack. I'm 1m58 & can sit up straight on the mattress. Bathroom is good, don't have to line up to use, they provide shampoo & shower gel. Good place for those who just want a place to rest at night.

The light slot in bed cabin has dust. If you're a light sleep, may not sleep well till get familiar with the snore. Wall of room is thin, I could hear people chit chat & other sound from the room beside (they get in & talk loudly at 12 am). My own room members were try hard to keep silent, made me a little bit uneasy, had to act really lightly to avoid affecting others, quite difficult.

Great location, walking distance to the MRT station, museums, and galleries. Spacious bed and locker. Fully function bathroom with toilet and sink inside. The staff were super supportive.

Slightly more expensive than a standard dorm. Would be great if they provide slippers and do something with the doors so they dont shut loudly.

Second time I stay in this hostel. It's a bit pricier than other options but I never had a problem here. It's very clean, plenty of bathrooms and showers, beds are very comfortable and there's enough space to store your stuff.

My locker was broken. But if I had said something they probably would have changed it or fixed it for me. I just didn't bother cuz i didn't have anything that important to store

Location- short walk to Taipei Main station/Train to airport. Bus stop just across the road, bike rental right around the corner. 15 mins walk to famous Ximending Street. Many shops/restaurants near by. Staff very kind and helpful. I stayed in 4 beds dorm, pretty big and comfy bed. Spacious and clean bathroom.
