Roaders Hotel - Zhonghua

Great location, few minutes away from trains, bus stops, and Ximending. The staff were hospitable and were keen to help out when I asked about the area. The basement is a common area where you can hang out and leave your luggage. There's activities to do to entertain you, free snacks and refreshments, and space for lounging. Bathroom was clean and well-equipped. Showers were strong. I love my showers really hot, and this place was perfect for it.

The room was a bit small for how much it was.. but for the location and everything else, I can look past it. Their wifi could be better.. was a bit spotty at the basement when I needed to work for a few mins.

it’s very near ximending and a lot of restaurants nearby as well. the staffs are really friendly and approachable. the ambiance and theme of the hotel is on point. overall, we strongly recommend this hotel as we enjoyed our stay here ❤️❤️❤️

i guess our hotel room is a bit small and we sometimes smell smoke whenever we open the exhaust fan in the restroom. i know it’s not the hotel’s fault since someone is probably smoking in another room. the hotel specified to not smoke in the hotel room but probably some guests tried smoking in the restroom

Everything about this hotel! The price, excellent locations (between XMD & Taipei Station), the lobby (we love the basketball machine, table hockey, free tidbits and drinks. Of cos the friendly staff especially Barbie.

I booked the rooms with no window as the hotel was fully booked. I was welcomed with a stench in the room. Everything was great except that. As the hotel had full occupancy, they weren't able to change the room for me until the 3rd night but they made effort to get ride of the smell in the 1st 2nights. Thank You!

There were free instant noodles, snacks, coffee/tea and water at the lobby with a projector screening movies 24/7 which was a pleasant surprise. The hotel was about 3 mins walk to Ximending which was very convenient, with many convenient stores nearby. Laundry was free too.

The bed could have been a little bit softer.

I booked Roaders after reading other glowing reviews on Booking and am thrilled to share I also loved my stay. The staff were friendly at check-in and the game room made for a great environment in which to relax.

I booked a room without a view because it was cheaper and found it to be perfect for my short stay. The entrance was easy to find and conveniently located just around from the corner from one of the metro stations and several bus stops.

The hotel is very close to Ximending night market which makes it so much fun for our trip. Check in and check out is fast. There’s a lot of convenience store outside the hotel where you can buy food and other stuffs you need. The room is quite small but bathroom is a good size though. Unlimited snacks is legit and they taste good :)

There’s no bidet in the bathroom.

The lobby has a lot of entertainment, complimentary snacks, and drinks. They also serve sandwiches in the morning, and hot dogs in late afternoon. The property is also near ximending which is a walkable shopping area.

I wish there was an English translation of their souvenir service. Apparently I could’ve ordered pineapple cakes from Chia Te or Sunny Hills and have it delivered to the hotel. I didn’t realize until too late, I would’ve used it.

1. A traffic crossing away from noisy busy ximenting area, 2. Family mart, 7-11 and many local sandwich breakfast eateries next to hotel at road level. 3. All staff from reception to room attendants are friendly and helpful.

1. mattress is too soft for us. 2. can hear the water flowing noise when room above is using the toilet. 3. Hot water flow during shower will turn cold for split second

The staff!! Very nice and helpful people that really helped me during the quarantine. The location - very close to the main station. There are supermarkets, banks and a night market within short walking distance. The room was very clean.

The room is really small. At least, by Western standards. Maybe OK for one person, but not for two. You can not use the table, because the fridge is under it. No chair, only a stool.

The facilities for roaders hotel was amazing. In the lobby they have staff that are fluent in English and Mandarin. Additionally they have free snacks and hot food that is refilled periodically through the day. The lobby also has free arcade games and clean bathrooms. The room itself was fine. The window configuration was odd, but they had large shades to block the windows, so they were essentially walls.
