Hotel Restaurant Seehof

The location is excellent. Interior and decor was stylish and comfortable. Some staff were fantastic with great interpersonal skills but some were so busy that they were dismissive and not helpful.

Room was directly above the outdoor terrace restaurant so it was noisy with customers and then music from staff till later at night. A bit understaffed at restaurant so hard to get attention at times. Also, more like a B&B without full time hotel staff at reception.

The location was perfect and being right on the lake was a lovely bonus. The hotel has recently been through a complete renovation and upgrade. Our room was large as was the bathroom. All the room facilities were great. There was even a backpack available for use during our stay if we had wanted to go on a longer walk - nice touch! The hotel and room decor is fabulous yet relaxing and the staff were friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant is also excellent. There were a few hotel carparks, which we were able to use. However there is a larger paid parking area directly in front of the hotel so plenty of options.

should have had bathrobes and a telephone to call reception! I had to call with my mobile. Also TV was a little difficult to get going but worked ok after that. Wish they had a bigger menu but they kindly made me a dish that they are not currently serving due to staff shortage.

Our room was excellent and quite different from the 'standard'. It was very comfortable, had a superb shower area and had an excellent large patio area where we could relax and enjoy the surrounding views of the lake and mountains. The car parking worked very well for our short stay.

The best selling point of the hotel is the location which is perfect. Hotel is nice with good facilities. Staff ok although not always the friedliest. Breakfast pretty good - not the best.

All extras are expensive and space by the pool very limited. Especially staff in restaurant could be friendlier.

The great room, very comfy and complete. So nicely decorated. The view on the lake absolutely stunning. The staff very friendly.

The restaurant is heavily overpriced. We paid over 200 euro for 2 courses and 1 shared dessert and a bottle of wine. The food was fine but not outstanding. And to leave lemongrass in little pieces with the shrimps is not ok.

hotel has just a few own parking spaces, affordable public parking right next door though

Beautiful modern hotel with delicious breakfast. We had a spacious room on the 3rd floor with a view of the lake. They went out of their way to accommodate our Scottish Terrier who joined us for breakfast every morning. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay at Hotel Seehof again.

- we did not like the bed, we were expecting a king size bed but it was twin bed made as one bed, bad idea really.

The view , the scenery , it was peaceful, the friendliness of the staff and easy access, and close to the mountain for walks
