The hotel is close to the railway station and took me less than 10 minutes to walk. it is also right in the edge of the old town. Even though I’m a solo traveller I book a double room as I find it more comfortable, but because I was only stopping for one night I booked a single and it was great. The single bed was much bigger than most and was really comfortable. The room was a good size for a single and the bathroom was modern and again a good size. Breakfast was included and it was very good, plenty of choice and good quality. The staff were very friendly and helpful too.

Nothing really, but it would’ve been nice to have a kettle in the room.

The location is really great, directly opposite the old town and the train station is also about 10 minutes walk away. The staff is very courteous and polite. We slept well, so the beds must be good. The bathroom is very bright and very clean.

Our room was on the river side, which makes for a great view, but it's super noisy with the windows open (that's obvious, but you have to know). We had the window open because it was quite warm in the room despite the heating being off. Basically, I would say that the condition is good, but now would be the right time to completely renovate (Except for the bathroom - that's great). The prices are very high, typical for Switzerland.

Staff were very pleasant. Breakfast was a good spread. Had dinner in the restaurant twice and the meals were good. The hotel is situated on the edge of the old town so very convenient to explore. Chur itself is a good base for exploring the very scenic areas leading to the likes of Tirano, Arosa, St.Moritz etc using the local rail network.

This is not a criticism of the hotel but my room was noisy. There is a fast flowing river right outside plus a busy and sometimes noisy roundabout and beware of the Saturday night/Sunday morning revellers shouting to one another outside. The room itself was basic but adequate and it was always kept clean. Wooden flooring, basin in the room with a separate toilet and shower room. An open wardrobe with four hangers and just one shelf. There was also a table and chair and a fan because there is no air conditioning. The hotel is a ten minute walk uphill from the train station.

Excellent location to the old town centre, free parking, staff very helpful, good quality and choice for breakfast.

We had a budget room with the river running past outside which was extremely noisy, so unfortunately had to close the window on a hot couple of nights, but a fan was supplied and we slept very well. We would have the same room again despite these remarks because of the views.

very nice hotel about 10 minutes walk to the Train Station. Bed was extremely comfortable which was important to us as we were off a long haul flight. Great Morning breakfast and cafe handy to take a stroll AC worked well which we hoped we did not have to use, but it made sleeping better.

We were close to one rail like which was used for street car and small freight trains. Having that noise not there would have been better, but it did not bother us in the end.

Room was quite ample, larger than the typical European standard, and clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, and location is excellent. The village of Chur is a beautifully maintained medieval delight and a pleasure to visit.

Front-desk service was practically absent much of the time, and all written information--brochures, menus, notices--were only in German. The latter was true about Chur generally. Also, surprisingly unlike the Italianate villages of Ticino that we visited, very little attention was being given in restaurants and elsewhere to social distancing and mask wearing, which left us a bit uncomfortable.

The location of the hotel was great for driving in and being able to park and still have easy access on foot to the old town and the train station. The breakfast was simple but convenient. They made late check-in easy by sending us a door code and leaving the room key on the counter. They also let us leave the car in the parking lot for an extra day after we checked out. Overall, a very convenient experience.

Having a queen size mattress instead of two twin beds pushed together would have been nice.

Smooth and easy with the helpful and friendly staff. I arrived by car and the car space was reserved for me so I could drive straight in. A comfortable room and both the room and the large modern bathroom were clean. A very nice breakfast and again the staff were very friendly and helpful. I went on the cable car and the hotel gave me a voucher which you can get a discount when buying the cable car ticket. I had an enjoyable stay and would be happy to book there again.

Very central but reachable by car. They have a lot of parking (outside and underground). They let me park my car for one night when I was not there (up in the mountains skitouring) for only 12CHF. Breakfast was great. Staff friendly and helpful.

Breakfast good once I'd worked out how to use the egg boiler. Location good for station and old town.

Room was noisy in the evening but I was warned about this.
