Elite Hotel Marina Plaza

The location of the hotel is arguably the best in Helsingborg, right on top of the railway station and the ferry terminal to Denmark. My room was very nice, with a great seaside view of the harbour and the town hall. The high point of this hotel is the marvellous breakfast, with everything that you could possibly want, fresh and readily available. A special mention of the breakfast staff – friendly, quick and nimble, even when the place was crowded. An excellent example of organisation skills. Front desk staff also very nice and helpful.

The shower was old-fashioned – a narrow tub, not a proper cabin or shower wall. To shower safely, while standing in the slippery tub, I had to ask for an anti-slip rubber mat, which arrived promptly. It should be a permanent fixture. The second morning, the room staff had forgotten to refill milk packs for the free coffe. Also, I wouldn't have minded a pair of slippers as standard items.

Our first choice when we return to Helsingborg again will be this wonderful hotel. Fabulous location, family-friendly, spacious rooms, great breakfast, and excellent customer service. It is conveniently located hotel in the centre of Helsingborg near the waterfront. I would like to highlight the friendly and helpful staff at the hotel, particularly the receptionist on shift last Thursday, as she was extremely kind and helpful. The hotel offers magnificent views of the city and waterfront. I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

This four star hotel was very impressive. Our room was excellent and the hotel is in a perfect location. Breakfast was included and was of the highest standard. We were able to store our bikes behind a locked gate. Highly recommend.

I received a number of promotional emails beforehand, but they were in Swedish, and I wasn't able to translate them to English.

Breakfast was the best I've ever tried. Considering I am on a non-meat and gluten-free diet, there was an incredible diversity of dishes. Just great! And we were allowed to stay as long as we needed though the breakfast time was out. And an extra bonus was a bath in the room.

The stairs were disappointedly dirty. Maybe it is expected that everyone takes one of three elevators which were great.

We got upgraded to a suite because there were no rooms available we had booked. The flowers were dying .. there was a hair in the bath.. the coffee tables need to be repolished because sitting on the couch you can see every coffee stain ..it looked so grubby …and no curtains over the outside doors so no privacy …

The bed was great and the couches were good

Location in the harbor was felt as very romantic and central, room (suite) beat our expectations. Nice size and comfy (bathroom can use a refreshment) . Hotel staff were very welcoming, warm, professional.

The food from Bishops Arms ordered up to the room was absolutely not on par with the hotel image. Totally overpriced : räk sallad ( ridiculous small portion) , lökbröd and fish n chips (lots of greasy sumpy chips). All 3 not worth the money.

Great staff (they even prepared a special step for children to check in and get a present), location, room view, breakfast, good money value!

It wouldn't been better to have the option of sofa-bed in the room, but the staff were nice because they offered to bring a baby bed (unfortunately, it was too small for my kid). But the room was very comfortable in general.

breakfast was very good with lot of choice, localisation was perfect for us, room was in old design but clean and fresh nothing to complain about, stuff helpful. nice lobby with chilling zone, actually a lot of chilling zones to choose from - perfect for job meetings and conferences.

All was OK. Nothing to complain about - room was in old design but as I mentioned nothing what should be complain about - matter of taste.

location is fabulous and service was great . I had an accident and had issues climbing out of the tub and asked to be moved to a room with a shower which they did within few hours .

Location is great, central, 5mins walk to train & ferry. Beds very comfortable and room quiet. Deluxe room has view of harbour. Breakfast has good choice of hot and cold options.

For a deluxe room it is quite basic and bathroom small but functional, think you are paying for the sea view.
