Hacienda Fresneda María by Charming Stay Adults Recommended

the property was beautiful the pool was amazing and extremely peaceful. Breakfast although little option was very very good and the staff were very accommodating and helpful. the property was kept immaculate and rooms were cleaned to a high standard every day!

I wished there was a broader menu for lunch and dinner or at-least a different menu for either meal time. our room (1) was a-bit too hot on a nighttime I think with it being an upstairs bedroom it was hotter so maybe slightly better AC upstairs would be good. finally I think maybe a mini fridge in the room would be a huge plus since there’s no reception open on a night for drinks could also be another way to increase revenue 😀

Absolutely perfect location for rest & recuperation. When you book the Spa area (which consisted of sauna, jacuzzi showers & loo - at a cost of €10 per 30 mins), it is private for your booking only, which was brilliant. The deluxe room with balcony was very comfortable. The breakfast was great and would accommodate all tastes. The dinner menu was varied and mostly super tasty. Above all, every member of staff was absolutely amazing - extremely professional with the human touch of friendliness that makes you feel relaxed and at home. It all starts with Ms Noelia, who is the Front Desk Manager - she was incredible who also helped us in a personal matter AND in her own time, a truly inspirational lady who puts the clients of the hotel first, every time and always with very wonderful smile!

Considering all on the dinner menu which was varude and tasteful, the entrecôte steak must be better.

- natural style of the decor, a lot of wooden elements, calm environment - on-site spa (with 30 min free access included in the room price) - good breakfast with plenty of choice - possibility to book massage on-site (received mine from Encarni - wonderful experience!) - good lunch/dinner menu in the direction of high-level cuisine for those appreciating it - Mireia’s professional attitude and problem-solving approach (for things that were not up to standard when we arrived), which we appreciated a lot

- daily cleaning currently does not include swiping (nor vacuum cleaning or wiping) the floor nor change of the towels (the latter is changed once every 3 days, which made little sense given that we left on day 4) - in our room, there were two ceiling elements (lowering of the ceiling in the passage to the bathroom and exposed structural beam running through the middle of the room) at quite a low height (approx. 160 cm) so you have to be very cautious and always bend your head (significantly if you are above 170 cm) when you walk

Location is superb, facilities and spa are beautifull, restourant food is awesome. Surroundings and hills are impressive, olive tree garden is very charming.

Our small room cannot be called a deluxe actually. It had a cealing with beam hanging at 150-155cm, so you have to be carefull not to bang your head which hapenned few times. Also the passage to the shower room is about 150-155cm height. Shower water temperature was unstable and we were unable to make it stable during the stay. Two light bulbs were not working in the shower room.

Staff were great. They even changed the room for us so we could have better views. It was very clean and there was a hair dryer for curly hair!! Very peaceful and quiet place, perfect for relaxing. Super chilled atmosphere. Our room had an incredible terrace with the best view of the mountains.

The food in general. I didn't think the food was great (not bad either), but given the location (far from everything) I'd recommend to improve the quality of the dinner menu and provide other options for breakfast (instead of just offering a full buffet for quite a high price). Even though our room's terrace was amazing, the size of the room itself was a bit too small, with no/little place to store clothes or any personal item (or leave the suitcase anywhere). Took a massage and the room was super cold. Would recommend investing on a proper heater for the massage room.

the view into the mountains was just mesmerizing! the staff was really friendly and the rooms very comfortable. I was a bit scared regarding the food because of the comments here, but we liked the food a lot! breakfast had sufficient selection and dinner was nice as well!

the Wifi was really bad :( I had to use my private data during all those days and also the tv program for German programs was not running properly. the Temperatur of the pool was really cold, but okey :)

very serene location less than an hour out of Malaga - which matched the styling inside the hotel’s salons. the sauna and jacuzzi we had for our allocated 30 min was really nice!

Minor things - no menu for the restaurant other than QR code. We knew this when we checked in but opted to leave our phones in the room, assuming there’s be a board or at least an iPad version. So a no-phone night together didn’t happen as we had to get them from our room to order dinner. unfortunately the dinner menu was uninspiring and quite bland … sorry!

I really enjoyed my stay at Hacienda Fresneda Maria. The hotel is located in the middle of an olive grove - the views are just amazing! The staff at the reception and the restaurant is extremely friendly, always helpful and ready with recommendations. The room was comfortable. All in all - an excellent destination for a relaxing holiday.

Our vacay here was truly charming. Location among olive groves and the place itself is really amazing - very well mastered in terms of design and the atmosphere which is relaxing and calm yet quite close to the Malaga town (25 min drive). Gastronomy also nicely surprised and the sunsets were unforgettable.

We have been there one week ago and we enjoyed everything. This hotel even exceed our high expectations: beautiful location with an incredible view, the staff is very friendly and professional, excellent service, really well maintained and clean rooms, elegant architecture and decoration outside and inside. Food served is fresh, tasty and of excellent quality. Breakfast is amazing and dinner as well. We can definitely recommend this hotel.
