Hotel Atlántico Vigo

My trip was just an overnight stop between one train journey and another. I found the room cleaner and more pleasant than I'd expected, possibly because of a poorer experience earlier in my trip.

The reception staff didn't speak any English, but it's worth saying that this didn't cause any problems at all. The communication of where my room was, the room number, the WiFi details, the payment for the room were all managed just fine with either printouts of general gestures. I'm not going to fault someone for only knowing their own language, I can't claim any better.

Location: great for my needs, within walking distance to bus station, close to some cafes and restaurants. Very clean and comfortable. Bed was so comfortable! Price was pretty good.

The view was awful--looked down on an alley, and lots of other people's windows looking in. But--oh well. And besides, the curtains/shades worked well, so no real inconvenience.

A nice location, 10min walk from rail station. Plenty of food outlets nearby. Staff very Friendly and helpful - English not a problem. Could have stayed longer. Good WiFi.

View out the back wasn't great but you get what your pay. No English TV channels. Entrance location not all that obvious and twice walked right past it.

Beautiful exterior facade in original stone. Staff very polite and friendly. Super clean and modern decoration, very comfortable indeed. Easy to book, and after arriving later than anticipated (almost midnight) staff were waiting at the front desk to do the check in. Left very early, so have no comments to offer on breakfast, but again staff at the desk were so helpful, called me a taxi, and taught me some differences between spoken Spanish and Catalan.

The location was perfect, near the amazing church and close to everything. Staff was absolutely amazing, was going extra mile for everything, even with not perfect English, you could see, they would try to exceed your expectations.

Since it was only 2* hotel, I believe there was everything what I could expect, so we liked everything.

This hotel is really excellent. Very clean & comfortable. Smashing facilities. Bathrooms are top notch & the cafe downstairs is perfect. It is central & easy to find. Because our windows faced onto a courtyard, we could open them at night without noise disturbance. I really recommend it. Vigo is an attractive city with lovely shops.

Excellent position so easy to find upon arrival by car and the underground secure parking was a bonus. Air con in room worked very well and was necessary and the free toiletries were great quality. For a 2 star we were very impressed.

Location was great. Everything was near. And staff were great also. The hotel was very clean. In the front of the hotel you can find a great Cafeteria. Prices wasn't so high.

I didn't like one thing. In the bathroom, I saw the cockroach. :(

The location was great! Walkable distance to everywhere we wanted to go. The staff were very nice, the room was ok too

We stayed in the entreplanta which had a few stairs, might be an issues if you have mobility issues or a heavy suitcase

Central hotel less than 10 mins walk from the train/bus stations. Very good value. Public cafe open all day, so larger than normal selection for breakfast. WiFi and hot water all fine.

OK the bed did squeak a bit but was comfy enough.
