Hotel Windsor

From checking in through to departure the staff were excellent throughout the hotel. The location was perfect for everything. The pool and its facilities, especially the bar service, was second to none. The breakfast consisted of a great spread of cold meats, cheeses, pastries and fruits and also a varied hot selection each morning of bacon, eggs, sausage, beans etc...faultless. The rooms were of a good size with a big balcony overlooking the pool, the bathrooms were small but adequate. The parking, which had to be reserved as it is limited spaces was right next (part of) to the hotel. We can only fully recommend this hotel to anyone planning on a trip there.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike.

It was an amazing price-performance ratio, the staff was very friendly and spoke English well. A good idea to offer a bar as the season is close to coming to an end and many other locals in the town are closed. Super offer for breakfast!

The parking lot could have been bigger as we needed to leave our car a few blocks away. Others knew about it and had reserved the parking space but we didn’t know about such option - it wasn’t mentioned anywhere. I did, tho, say that we will have free parking next to the hotel. Luckily, the parking was for free anyway.

We liked the location to the town and beach as it was central, but peaceful. The decor is beautiful and the room was clean. Beds were really comfy. Breakfast was brilliant as there was such a mixture and differences each day. The pool area is lovely, as is the pool. The staff were friendly, the cocktails delicious. Would highly recommend it.

It’s the tiniest thing, we had to leave early in the morning before breakfast and were told we could have a picnic to take away. On leaving it appeared that the staff member on shift on reception wasn’t aware of this, but set off to get something. On opening our picnics at the airport it was disheartening to find two plums each, one of which was bashed and bruised, an apple, also past it’s best and a cheese and ham sandwich, no spread. Plus a bottle of water. In light of the fabulous breakfasts we had been having we felt a bit hard done by and disappointed. But I’m comparison to everything else it’s minor as I say.

My biggest worry when booking this reservation it was the location and I have to say there is nothing to worry about. It is a short walk from the beach. The whole place is amazing, the pool area is great, the breakfast is delicious, the rooms are spacious and clean but what makes it even better is the people that work here. From reception to the bar staff, everyone is so lovely and helpful. I felt that after covid a lot hotels lost a bit of their charm but not this one, I would comeback to Tossa and stay here over and over again. And I would like to give a special shout-out to Diego that worked at the bar, what an incredible person!

The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and the staff were efficient and friendly. We particularly liked Cristian who made the best café frappes at the bar area. The room was quiet and we were pleased to have chosen a room with a balcony which made a big difference, particularly on the one day that it was rainy. The hotel is well located, not far from the beach and the old town.

The pool area soon filled up - it would be impossible to find a sunbed in the summer period. The hotel needed someone to clean the surfaces more thoroughly around the pool and to manage the unacceptable behaviour of some guests who were constantly "bombing" into the pool.

location was fantastic, close to the old town, beach and shops as well as the bus station with easy access to Lloret de Mar and Barcelona. The pool area was great, clean and relaxing. Drink prices were low and tasted great. Breakfast had a very good variety of foods. In general, decorated stylishly with a very welcoming receptionist team. Fast wifi too and room mini fridge stocked daily which was a nice touch.

nothing really, couldn't quite understand why it was a 3 star and not a 4, the one and only flaw with our room was some chipped paint on the walls but this of course didn't bother us at all.

Look overall of hotel. Staff was very communicative. Breakfast complete and diverse. Beds were excellent. Location for some a plus for others a drawback. But so easy to walk to Tossa's places of interest. Cocktails were good taste and value. Pool area feels intimate despite builtup around premises. Nice illumination at night.Loved the table lamps

Parking is quite compact. Staff came to us upon arrival to help us park in hotel parking which we really valued!! Pool bar music for us too loud and alltoo American yelling music unfortunately : less would be a big big PLUS.

Excellent little boutique hotel in the heart of Tossa de Mar. Immaculately clean, comfortable rooms with huge beds. It is easy to get a sun bed around the pool. Staggered breakfast meant it was easy to get a seat out on the terrace. Outside bar gives waiter service to your sun lounger. Staff friendly and helpful. Can't wait to come back here. Beautiful little resort, too, by the way. If you have not been to Tossa before, you won't be disappointed. This hotel is a must!

Nothing to dislike.

Very helpful staff. Advised us of the sights and walks around Tossa they organised taxi to the airport for the middle of the nightLovely room very clean and well laid out. Had a fridge in the room we were able to get a kettle both we made use of both. Breakfast was included one of us needed gluten free and they had GF products available in the mornings.It was near the beach. We got towels for the beach from the hotel. Very happy with Hotel Windsor. Would stay here again.

Nothing we didn’t like

Our room was spacious and cozy, with a great balcony where we could relax in the evening. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were soft and clean. The hotel is very close to the beaches, lively city center, and major attractions, but in a quiet area, which was impressive. The breakfast was tasty and diverse, which was a huge plus to us and gave us a great start to the day.

Some of the other guests were a bit noisy and the walls are thin, but this is not the hotel's fault.
