The hotel had the train station literally around the corner. It was also near to the stairs that take you to the historic quarter and near the port on the other direction. Staff were super nice and they were 24/7 Facilities were comfortable and clean and also the breakfast was good.

The only thing to improve is the acoustic. You could easily hear through the walls and the people on the hallway when they were talking. We woke up several times with them talking outside our doors

The staff was really nice and friendly. Location is great, it's right next to the train station, and everything is close by. Also, the breakfast had a lot of options to choose from, and the food was really nice 😊

There was a construction work in the street where the hotel is located so it was pretty noisy and loud throughout the day but that doesn't depend on the hotel or the staff, it was just a circumstantial inconvenience.

Its a nice, quiet hotel in a great location extremely close to the beach and very close to the city center. Our room was quite small, but that was expected for what we paid! The staff is very nice and welcoming, gives you tips about how to get where. Parking is close by and you can get a card from the hotel (you need to pay for it). Definitely recommend!

There is nothing we didn't like. All expectations were met.

I was pleased with everything, cleanliness of the room, size of the room was good but then i got upgraded so i don't know what a single room would have been like :-) Location of the hotel was great, near the station and i was coming in by train. Hotel was near the centre so overall I was pleased with my stay and would definitely go back !

Sound insulation perhaps was not that good, could hear voices from other room. Then i wish that there had been a lift, but the lady at the reception did come and help me after a while :-)

Comfortable bed with good air conditioning.

There was dust on the floor and on the clothes hangers. The windows are not very well insulated so any noise on the street is quite audible even with the windows fully closed, but the street itself is generally quiet. The price of breakfast seemed excessive, so I didn't take it, there is a nice cafe around the corner that is far cheaper.

Good value, clean and well-kept hotel a minute's walk from Tarragona railway station. Have stayed here in the past and have loved the excellent value breakfast (an extra 6 euros but well worth it). Bedroom was compact but had everything we needed, with AC, a tv and ensuite. Quiet outside the property and excellently positioned for the station, beach and centre of town. Friendly and attentive owner and staff who work hard to maintain the quality.

It could do with a a lift or stair lift to access the first floor as there are only stairs.

. I appreciated the cleaning of the room. Is second time I sleep in this hotel and won't be the last. Friendly and helpful staff . They have the best beds and pillows ever The hotel is 5 minutes away from the closest beach and very near from the train station. There are few stores in the area and cafeterias.

Good selection at breakfast, good hygene by use of plastic gloves & masks at the buffet. Breakfast room was watched over at all times to ensure hygene. The outside of the hotel near the train station did not do the inside justice, we were pleasantly surprised. The public underground car park was a bit of a drive to get to due to the one way system but was actually 2 minutes walk to the hotel. We left the car in there for 2 nights without moving it as everywhere in town was within easy walking ditance.

After parking the car in the underground car park we asked at hotel reception how to get parking discount. We were told we had to inform the car park office on entry which left us a bit worried about the total cost of parking. When we left I explained to the attendant we has stayed 2 nights at Catalunya Express and the parking meter was immediately adjusted from 34 Eu to 20 Eu which I thought was excellent for a high security car park.

The hotel is 3 minutes from railway station, 7 minutes from the beach and up to 10 minutes from the city centre. The locality is great. There’s an air conditioning in the room, which is important in summer.

Air conditioning only had 1 regime, others didn’t work. No fridge in a room.

really nice place with marble floors. the room was basic but really comfortable and had everything I needed. The beach and the train station was just across the road. Also there are restaurants, bars and a casino about 10 minutes walk away.

there wasn’t a view from the room I was in but it was ok as I didn’t spend much time in there. The staff were friendly but the old man was a bit rude, all the same it didn’t spoil my stay.
