Hotel Alfonso XIII, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Seville

Beautiful hotel. Staff was wonderful and extremely helpful and attentive. The room was Fabulous! The bed was the best bed you can get in the city. Marriott hotels don't disappoint and Hotel Alfonso XIII was not exception. Drinks on the terrace were a delight. Breakfast was delicious, we ordered off the menu. Close to everything and parking is convenient either on site or the public lot 3 mins away.

Cost of the Breakfast Buffet was a little steep. Breakfasts in Spain are generally cheap and while the Buffet had a good variety and quality food, I just couldn't see paying that much.

The location is just perfect and the Alfonso XVIII is such a beautiful hotel - really breathtaking, we loved the terrace and the American Bar and the staff were fabulous. I was rather worried because we had to print off some passenger locator forms to get back to the UK and Sonia was very helpful with getting everything printed in reception for us. We have stayed in Seville many times but this was our first stay at the Alphonso XVIII and we were not disappointed.

Great position, good room.

Only one restaurant open, also open to the public, not enough staff, queues! Room not ready until 17.00 hrs although they did give us an upgrade. Queues at reception, parts of the hotel closed I.e. other bars/restaurants. What used to be a fantastic hotel is now quite clearly struggling to maintain standards.

This was my first trip away with my partner after the lockdowns to celebrate my birthday and from check in to check out, I could not have asked for more! The room and hotel itself are beautiful, it feels like you are staying in a palace. The staff were always very friendly and helpful and made the hotel feel like a home away from home. The breakfast was a treat of a buffet with everything you could imagine on offer.

The breakfast is a little bit expensive but with everything that is on offer and how long it had been since I’d been somewhere away from home, I didn’t mind!

We got upgraded to a room with a terrace. The room was big, the bed was comfortable, the room was quiet despite the hotel being in the centre of town. Fantastic location near the Alcazar, Seville Cathedral, Maria Luisa Park, bars and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was our first time there but they made you feel welcome as if you were a returning guest. Room service was fast and friendly too - we got room service on the first night after we landed late at night and the food arrived in about 15 minutes and was still hot and tasty. A full service true 5-star hotel, turn down service, chocolates on pillows and all. The rooms are beautiful with lots of details of their long history. Large bathrooms. Great toiletries. On our last night we got a little surprise when we returned to our room - a bottle of sparkling and a beautifully light cake for my birthday. We even got given a token from the niche perfumerie to take away with us - a good farewell gift. Could not recommend it more highly.

Excellent location! Gorgeous hotel very clean and front desk somewhat helpful. A classy place and architect was unbelievably amazing. Lots of small touches to stay more comfortable. overall, I would definitely stay there again😊‼️

Room was on the smaller side. Some of the lighting didn't work. The shower was really hard to understand and work. Breakfast was not super great but a lot of choices and didn't have much flavor and not hot. The staff could've explain how to get around the city better. We suggest that you call Uber instead of taking their suggestions and walking everywhere especially when it was so hot. 

It’s beautiful and very luxurious . The position is exceptional and tbh I think hard to beat . Our room was spacious and beautiful and we thought the staff were exceptionally friendly . Breakfast is amazing and such a beautiful situation in the courtyard . Pool is fab too . Superb .

The food we had on the terrace was disappointing but the service , drinks etc were fab we just felt the food could have been better presented . We ordered the platter of cheese and basically just got a plate of cheese , no bread or crackers or onion marmalade nothing with it so it was very disappointing for €35

We were upgraded to a beautiful suite for our wedding anniversary, treated to chocolate strawberries and Spanish cava, and our bed was decorated with rose petals on turn-down! There is a lovely swimming pool complex and just before sundown the waiters come around with complementary delicious homemade ice-cream of a different flavour each day. We ate in the casual outdoor terrace restaurant (Ena) on our anniversary night and the food was excellent and we enjoyed looking out over the romantic street view with illuminated fountain and horse and carriage riders passing by. The breakfast offered in the San Fernando atrium restaurant in the morning was wonderful and had all the choices you could wish for in a five-star hotel including an excellent omelette station, super coffee and fresh croissants. The hotel staff were helpful and courteous and arranged for us to store our luggage the next day until evening, issuing us with a pool pass to use the pool and shower facilities before our evening flight

Excellent state of the historical premises. Service is really up to a five star hotel. For example, they immediately responded to inquiries and fixed some little inconveniences such as changing the TV remote. A very important asset in the current COVID context: They have a very convenient deal with a clinic which provides PCR/ antigen test necessary prior to traveling and arrange related transportation back and forth. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. The breakfast is a real feast in the one-of-a-kind delightful courtyard.

Only thing is the swimming pool which is not easy to access and seems a bit small to accommodate many residents during hot weather .
