B&B HOTEL Girona 2

We have stayed at this hotel several times on our journey through Spain and have always found it excellent value. We travel with our two small dogs who are welcomed. The rooms are large and comfortable. Basic and very clean. Nearby takeaway food, supermarket just behind the hotel. Car park. Breakfast great. Pastries, cereal, savouries. Free hot drinks 24/7 in reception. Staff efficient and pleasant. Will continue to book this hotel.

Just one comment. No plug in sink or bath. Was looking forward to having a relaxing bath. Not sure if you have to ask for a plug at reception but we will bring our own next time.

Budget chain of hotels but very convenient next to the autovia and a short drive/bike ride into the city. The facilities are quite basic but completely adequate, there is nothing we didn't have. The staff and the front desk are very friendly, seemed to speak a number of languages and helpful. The carpark has a camera if you manage to park in the right spot! Definitely worth having the breakfast, there is a big choice and its a very reasonable price. Plenty of fantastic options for dinner in the old town.

There was nothing not to like. The hotel doesn't have the finery of the Ritz but really who needs that? I would always stay in hotels like this when travelling if it was a choice.

Booked as one night stop over. We know the area and chose to stay here for for shopping centre opposite. Shopping centre, has great shops and food options. Room price so reasonable but room has no frills.Food can be ordered and collected from reception, but we did not use this. Free drinks from machine in reception is a bonus. Breakfast cheap and actually very good. Lot's of options of meats, cheese, breads & pastries, frittata, yogurts, cereal, fruit etc. Staff very helpful and made contact with us when room was ready as we were very early checking in. Always grateful when hotels allow early check

Room very basic but we were there for the shopping, which was great.

Well located for the motorway. Easy to find with parking outside. Good sized, clean rooms. Great access to range of eating places in large mall 2 mins walk from hotel.

As a Brit, I was hoping to get (happy to pay for) a cup of tea from the breakfast area. No English tea available- green just doesn’t do it for me. Asked reception, but told none available. A shame as such a little thing, but with a big impact.

nice room very modern bathroom, coffee in room , in reception coffee freely available staff very welcoming Wi-Fi was no problem, free car parking, lifts to all floors, and a very good breakfast , what more could you ask for close to motorway for onward journey. There was a fridge supplied in the bedroom with cartons of water for the coffee machine along with crisps and even kit kats would stay here again .

probably my own fault milk (leche) in bed room was not there but fridge had water

The rooms are basic, but with all necessary facilities and clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful till late at night when we had to cancel the booking for the first night. It is great that coffee and tea is available 24/07. There is a shopping mall available across the road and a large supermarket behind the hotel.

The hotel is quite far from Girona centre, but there is regular bus service, especially in the weekend.

Friendly service, quiet, clean, good price! Ample breakfast. A perfect choice for one night. We are looking for an extra bed for our little girl. :) Unfortunately, it was already necessary, but it is perfect for sleeping and relaxing.

There are few storage areas, no hangers for coats or clothes.

I didn't get to Girona until 23:00, close to reception closing. Receptionist was charming and helpful. Bedroom was so clean it looked and smelt like new. Bed very comfortable, especially at this price.

I drive 2,500km from Croatia to Malaga. I often drive long days, arriving late and miss dinner. However, It wasn't very clear that breakfast finished at 10:00 It was good to have free coffee, but given the style of hotel, a machgine with snacks such as biscuits would have been good.

The beds were comfortable and the bathroom facilities were acceptable. We asked for extra towels and this was given at no extra charge. We only stayed one night but I don't think we would have had any issues staying longer. The hotel was a bus ride from the city centre which took about 30 mins and the buses came at regular times.

The frosted bathroom doors are not the best for privacy, they didn't lock either - they opened all the way out and all the way in.

great place for one night stay. shops and restaurants nearby. own parking and many parking spaces nearby. comfortable beds, clean. free coffee anytime. breakfast without eggs, but with cheese and ham

it would be great to have boiled eggs for breakfast too
