Hotel Spa Milagros Golf

The room was large and confortable and right next to the beach. The restaurant is good (but a little expensive). The hotel offers everyday lemonade and apples (and some candies as well!). The hotel also offers discounts for different activities around Mogro

The bathroom had sometimes a bad smell. I though there was a swimming pool but it is the pool of the spa (smaller than what I thought) and you have to reserve it at the front desk (and wear a bathing cap). I didn't try it with my family (because I didn´t have time)

Great location for ferry port. Nice clean comfortable hotel.

Have always paid for our accommodation at the hotel in the past, however this time they took the payment from my credit card prior to arrival, which incurs a foreign exchange charge, which we would prefer not to have. The waiters in the coffee bar could not speak very much English, it was even difficult to obtain a English menu from them, which they do have !!! The breakfast was not up to the standard we have had in the past, the hot food was left uncovered, and consequently was not hot. Selection was not as varied as usual. All looked very sparse. Evening meal was good, but no accompanying veg or potatoes with the fish or meat.

Excellent choice close to Santander. Restaurant was great and there is a snack bar with food available all day. Good service from the waiting staff both outside and at tables inside. Choice to eat informally or in main restaurant, both the same meu and fantastic food - the special menu included things we wouldn't have tried otherwise and was really good. Parking was no problem, always plenty of room outside so you don't need to go around to the car park which is about one street away. Area is very residential and feels safe and secure. Brilliant access to beach with enclosed lagood for safe swimming. Lift to rooms, everywhere clean including good pool/spa area. Really good management and team work hard with a smile - brilliant!

There was a wedding on but there was very little noise so no issues at all!

Location was lovely right opposite the beach. Also great place to stay if catching the ferry from Santander as only 15 minutes away from the port. Restaurant food was very good but a bit overpriced for the size of the portions.

It was a bit outdated and tired looking. The sauna was not working and was charged 3€ each for a swimming cap that was required for the swimming. If you didn't want to eat at the hotel you had to drive somewhere else as nothing else was open.

Lovely location, overlooking the beach, helpful staff speak a reasonable amount of English.ideal relaxing stopover before the ferry. We had Paella in the cafeteria, which was excellent, but you do need to pre order before 1pm for the evening.

We requested a double bed, but were given a twin. Breakfast choice was good, however the good selection of hot choices, eggs, bacon etc, were not even warm...very disappointing. THere were a couple of large noisy groups, it would have helped if more table were available away from the large groups for couples who require a quiet breakfast, but all the other tables were made up for the evening . What a shame in the past we have had a lovely hot quiet breakfast at this hotel.

excellent gem of a place located on the beach. I experienced the best service of our 20 day road trip of Portugal and Spain. Anna at reception was brilliant from check in to helping with luggage and then overall translation of Spanish to English. they also have a doctor on call free of charge which helped us greatly as mum was not so well. food is excellent - we are vegetarians the chef prepared fresh pasta ans in the morning we got tea and toast in the morning. Theo other staff were all helpful even gave me a car ride for getting medication from the pharmacy. we also got a late checkout without asking for it !! so that mum could recover better. room was clean and tidy with extra blankets provided. everything was just superb. thanks will deffo visit soon. 10/10. kartik

nothing to dislike about

Beautiful hotel. Would recommend to anyone. Staff mostly helpful and happy to help. Reception staff spoke good English. Waiting Staff limited. Cross the road and you are at the beach. There is a bar in the hotel, reasonably priced. Also a bar a few 100 feet away. Spa pool was good, hot tub not so hot but good sit and relax in. We only stayed over night so didn't try any therapies .

Menu, we had half board but for me not much to eat. We did ask if anything else told no, and menu waved at. My meal was 4 small prawns came with artichoke but I didn't like them and 6 small deep-fried monk fish about half inch square. I did see people with chicken and chips but told no. At least chips would have been some more food as monkfish served on a small bit of lettuce.

Lovely spacious hotel right on a beautiful beach. Sunsets were amazing. Staff polite, courteous and efficient. Our room was spacious with a large walk in shower, which I appreciated as I am disabled. We ate dinner each night in the restaurant and the food was good, a couple of things not to my taste but I like to try things. Chocolate coulant pudding was delicious! So was the cheesecake according to my husband!

I'm walking the Camino del Norte and found the hotel by accident as it was reasonably priced compared to everything else around. To then find a 4 star hotel with a spa was a bonus - it helped my muscles immensely and the facilities were as expected from a 4 star hotel. It was on the beach and had a full restaurant and room service.

Hard to find fault, but it was out of town.

Stunning view. Comfy bed and pillows. Big room. Nicely decorated hotel. Easy free parking. Nice food. 20 meters from the beach.

No kettle in the room. Bit noisy, as private events, but we stayed on Friday. No sauna in the Spa also You have to book it. Has to wear swim cap even for steam room.
