Suitopía - Sol y Mar Suites Hotel

It was wonderful, even better than we expected! Our room was upgraded to a suite, which was a great surprise. The best thing was the heated adult’s pool in wintertime! Breathtaking seaview from the balcony, spacious, modern & quiet room, very cozy bed. Delicious breakfast, huge selection. Very friendly staff, especially the young guy at reception.

The small blue night tables next to the bed should be tightened, they were loose and wobbly, but that’s not a big deal.

Nice for families. Pool area is great and family rooms are outstanding!

Upon check in the hotel pulled us a trick by not allowing the extra bed/crib for a 2 year old that we requested via email and forced us to pay for an extra room for 3 nights = 900 euro. They were hiding behind the fact that they would get a fine if they were caught with 5 people in a family room…… an outrage especially because they never responded to our initial request where they should have notified us prior to our arrival that it was not possible; they did respond to all kind of minor requests like breakfast etc. Smells like a deliberate move to fill their capacity.

The view is terrific, hotel is new, modern, clean. The pools are great. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The water in the pools is freezing, very cold, especially for the kids. Of course this time of the year it's probably ok, but if something can be done, it should be done. The other thing is just a hint: the hotel has web-app where one may found hotel info, room service, spa etc.( QR codes are everywhere in the hotel), but as far as I understood it is not fully functional. At least when I made an order for the room service via this app, they didn't see it until I asked about the state of my order on the hotel reception. BTW I still have this order as "pending" in the app :)

The room and the View were amazing and we were very satisfied. The staff were amazing and friendly. The location of the hotel was really great and in walking distance form all the attractions of the town. The parking was very convenient and located right under the hotel and it was reasonable priced.

The only think I can say was annoying and I understand it was because of the special Covid situation and prevention of possible transfer of the virus, was the Lifts, which sometimes specially in the morning hours could take as much as 20 minutes to get an empty lift. The breakfast was good, but not great. It was very normal

The location was fantastic, the room with astonishing vviews , confortable, silent and very nice place. The staff were always available and I don't have any complaint except the staff from the roof terrace.

Lack of information regarding the minibar, the welcome cocktail was not available the first as we were doing the checking and when we headed to the bar at 18:08 they said it's already expired and the access to the roof terrace in my sincere opinion is a bit messy. You can only book if you pay 80€, if you want to have a drink you cannot stay waiting and the smoking is totally forbidden even in the big lounge terrace in the ground floor. Also we did not like the option that all the booking for the breakfast was full already in the latest shifts.

View of the Sea. Skybar was awesome. Bathroom was very nice. Weekday breakfast was nice. Balcony was amazingly huge. You cannot see into neighboring balcony.

Saturday breakfast was packed and hard to navigate. Too modern for our tastes. You get a kitchen but cannot use it without an up charge. All of these negatives were minor compared to the positives.

Fabulous sea view; good large and modern rooms; excellent sky bar; excellent welcoming staff with the correct attitude towards customers; excellent spa and small outdoor pool and bar; excellent range of good quality food for breakfast; excellent central location.

The main outdoor pool should be heated and all year round for the hotel prices. The spa should also be included or at least a small charge would be more acceptable (e.g. 10 euros per person, but treatments obviously extra).

Everything else. The room was gorgeous. We were on the 28th floor with a view like no other. It was modern, clean and spacious.

We spent more than €600 on a room for 4 nights. We got a little food in the shop and returned to the room to put it into the fridge - which was off. We contacted reception to let them know it wasn't working and were informed that it would be an extra €55 to use the fridge as its part of the kitchen and isn't included in the price. It was disappointing to say the least. Surely its more work to disconnect the fridge than it is to keep it plugged in for paying customers to use when its already in the room. We were told that there was a minibar - which there was. It wasn't cold and didn't fit a medium sized bottle in it.

Amazing location and sea view suite. Walkable to all the shops and attractions. The front office very helpful and friendly. The breakfast have a massive variety. They have 3 pools and one of them is the heated pool. If you are a gym lover try their gym equipment. you will impress by it. Don’t forget to try the Sky bar with a breathtaking view. Highly recommended.

Nice and new place, very good breakfast. Great sky bar as well. A lot of activity for kids and adults as well, beach is right next to the hotel as well as many good restaurants. They have few pools (one of them is warm but it was a lot of people inside and water didn't look clean at all).

We didn't know about how the kitchen system work in the room, nobody told us, but then we asked and you can use it with extra payment, it is kind of not cool cause rooms are not cheap already.
