AR Diamante Beach Spa Hotel

Reception staff were extremley professional and friendly. Rooms were avalable before check in which helped. All our requestes had been taken on board which was really accomadating of the hotel. Poolside coffee and snack bar was excellent and so easy to have something through the day. Pool activities were fab and the staff got everyone involved, it had been very thought out as the entertainment became quite at lunchtime so nice and peaceful, even though the pools are not big, it was never a problem as some guests went to the beach. Enough beds and the lifeguard was very pro active with removing any towels that had been left, but it wasnt a big probem. I have to say a shout out to the pool maintenance team, I used to lay by the pool early and it was so good to see how much work went into keepng the pools clean before you got to swim in them. Spa was amazing and took my 15 year old son, he and my husband also had a massage which they thought was very good. I had never stayed before at the hotel but I would definately fo back. It has a great location on the quiter side of Calpe with some really great restaurants. We used the train to go to Old Calpe and also got a cab there one night from the hotel to go to a restaurant. We only had breakfast once at the hotel on the day we were leaving and one night for dinner both a buffet style. Nothing amazing in cuisine but the teenagers were happy and a variety of things, wouldnt eat there more than we had to as we like eating out.

If I wanted to be really picky, the bathrooms could do with a deep clean around the shower glass and skirting area. And a few more umbrellas around the pool, but thats it!

-great value for money -very helpful and smiling staff (helped me get transportation early morning back to the airport) -many options available at the hotel restaurant -large room and confortable bed (mine with fantastic sea view from the balcony) -big bathroom and a lot of space for the clothes and suitcases -the fact that there is a swimming pool even though I didn't use it -supermarkets very close by

-I just thought there could be several price options at the restaurant instead of a general flat fee. For example a price option for vegetarians or without dessert, etc. But I was told the restaurant is managed independently from the hotel. Anyway, not a problem as there are several restaurants 3-5mn walk from the hotel

Large hotel with wide range of activities available throughout the day. We especially enjoyed the evening shows. Good breakfast and dinner buffets with wide choice of good quality dishes. Very good location some 250m from a very pleasant beach. Good swimming pools. Excellent spa with wide range of different stations: one of the most extensive and well-presented spas we have been in. Quite large rooms with big terrace.

Very poor internet: Complex 2-stage log-on process, frequent dropouts, frequent requests to login again, very slow (when working) at 1.5 mbs ie. mobile data much faster = unusable and unacceptable for 2023. Restaurants can become overloaded in the morning and evening peaks = queues. Parking at 14 euros per night should be free at the prices charged for board. Insufficient lift capacity results in queues at busier times.

The hotel is situated very close to the beach, supermarkets and bars and restaurants. The rooms are very spacious with a wonderful balcony with stunning views. Check-in was easy and the staff were very friendly. We would recommend this hotel and 100% stay again

The first night, we had a light blanket/cover on the bed, but the next day, it was removed as well as the bathroom floor mat and not just in our room. The bath towels weren't changed either. These weren't really issues, just more attention to detail.

Excellent beachside location, fabulous reception staff and wonderful sea views. Dining team work so hard and deliver some great food and better service.

Lift situation with COVID leads to long queues and climbing the stairs in a Spanish summer is not ideal.

Very tasty breakfasts, great, big rooms with stunning view from 10th floor. Very kind and helpful Staff. Very comfy beds. I'd love to come back to this hotel.

In my opinion the price for spa pools is too high. I used it and it was great, but 29€ for 1 hour it's much.

Great location, friendly professional staff, lovely room. Also big thanks to Spa team, Kike, Carlos and Kelly who were excellent.

All good except we had a horrible stain on our duvet but the housekeepers changed it immediately 👍 no hot drink facility in room- we brought our own kettle!

Excellent breakfast buffet. Very nice view from the room's balcony. Large lobby with comfortable seats. Very efficient and helpful staff. Great location.

There is nothing to dislike about this hotel! Just a few minor details that could improve its already high quality : a shower gel dispenser instead of small tubes (which were renewed every day), a kettle with coffee & tea in the room, complementary bottle of water (2 bottles were offered on the first day).

food was very good for all meals. room was very spacious with good views of pool and sea. beautiful decorated common areas.

WiFi very inconsistent. loo brush in bathroom needed. one lift out of action for whole stay. changing of meal times due to some dance group staying.

The staff is amazing! A big shout out Iván, the life saver at the pool. Also the restaurant, reception and bar personnel are amazing. Very professional, helpful, attentive, flexible and lovely. 10 out of 10 to them!!! The bed is also super good. The bedroom in general, as the air conditioning works well and the toilet is spacious and does the job. I would definitely come back if I had kids.

Huge queues for the lifts on peak times but it is understandable due to the covid restrictions at the moment. It is a family oriented resort, so I don't recommend it for solo travellers.
