Stanford Hotel Busan

Location is excellent, walking distance to several popular spots like Jagalchi Market and BIFF Square. Very lively till past dinner 10pm+, so many street foods and snacks. The shopping and food prices here are generally much lower compared to Seoul. The female receptionists are very professional and spoke decent English. The rooms are very small, but very clean. They also gave us complimentary honey biscuits that can be bought from the reception for about 7000won per box. So good I ate so many.

There was a male receptionist that seemed very unprofessional. He was openly using his hand phone with music playing. He didn’t glance up until I spoke to him. When I asked to book a transport to the airport, he greeted me with an expression that I can only describe as annoyed. As he could not comprehend or communicate well in English, it took some time before I could get my message across and by then, he was visibly exasperated. Stark professional difference with the female receptionists as they were polite, friendly, respectful.

Easy walking distance to Seafood Market and Busan Film Festival shopping location. Love the Cat on location. Very helpful staff and assisted with luggage storage when we were checking out due to late train back to Seoul. Cleaner returned a belt left behind in our room too. Very very good experience for us. Subway right at the front as well as the underground shops entrance. Super convenient!

Overall a very good experience with the Hotel staff and great location. Busan was super cold on the day we arrived (-5C) traveling around via Uber to various location, no items we did not like.

The staff members were super lovely and helpful. They went out of their way to help us get taxis to transport us and our 4 large suitcases. They also helped us store two of our suitcases for a few days while we were out. Couldn't be happier with the staff. We came across the cleaners a few times as well, and they were very friendly.

There was no laundry facility in the building, which was a little inconvenient for us as we were there for 4 nights.

The location was pretty great! Only a short walk away from the main markets, malls & harbour, as well as all of the various modes of transportation. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, good breakfast options (for vegetarians as well!), good air conditioning & helpful staff! Really accommodating for when you have to check out, but have a late departure - I could leave my bags, knowing they were kept safe & could collect them once ready to leave.

An extremely minor detail, was that the TV options were limited & only in Korean. Really not a huge deal at all, but if stuck due to the monsoon rain & wanting a little break, it would be good to have the option of subtitles.

Location: the center between Jagalchi and Nampodong metro/bus stations. Marvellous seafood in Jagalchi market. We had a king crab and got bonus (they call it "service",meaning on the house) with scallops, snails, octopus (nakji)... BIFF square is full of streetfood vendors, restaurants and shopping streets cris-crossing. But both shopping stores underground and on the streets close around 7:30pm. Only restaurants and eateries close later, around 10pm. Big hotel building, 15 floors, spacious rooms, daily cleaning and ammenities like new towels, water bottles... Room looks exactly like in photos.

We thought this hotel was in a perfect location for exploring Busan. It was close to Jagalchi Market, which everyone should visit to see all the amazing seafood. BIFF was practically across the street and from there it was a few blocks to another market. Transportation to other sites was easily accessible. The hotel was clean, the room big by Asian standards, the amenities excellent, and the price was fine. The desk clerk spoke excellent English and was helpful. Breakfast had a good variety on offer.

- Excellent location, walking distance from several markets (Jagalchi, Gukje, Bupyeong Kkangtong), BIFF Square and Yongdusan Park (with Busan Tower). - Great transport links a short bus ride away from Songdo Park and metro stop on line 1 right outside. - The room was spacious, well lit and with nice natural light and city view from the window. - Everything was clean, well maintained and I had very comfortable, quiet sleep

No faults with the hotel specifically but as a traveller, it would be a much longer journey to get to various sights in East Busan from this location

Excellent location. Close to subway and buses. Excellent air con and payed extra to have fab view from 14 th floor. Cleaning staff were so good and friendly. Waters left in fridge daily and usual toiletries in bathroom . The toilet wouldn’t flush and sorted out very quickly even though it was 1 am !

The room is not big , but we were out a fair bit, we came back to rest in the heat of the day . I would like somewhere to hang clothes - they did provide 4 coathangers.

The location in Nampo is excellent and there are both underground and bus stations right in front of the hotel. The room was nice, bigger than expected, well equipped and clean and the view from the window was great. Breakfast was good, too.

The breakfast staff was watching the guests instead of checking what needed to be refilled at the buffet. They didn't come across as very friendly. Breakfast itself was good, but the overall atmosphere wasn't.

Good location near restaurants shops night market. Room small but had everything you need, good size bathroom with bath and good shower. Busan large city but taxi available to take you everywhere if don’t want to use local buses or metro. Clean room bed comfortable

A little noisy from the Main Street outside, take ear plugs if sensitive sleeper, room size a little small.
