The estate was well laid out. The small details were excellent. I particularly loved the L'Occitane bathroom products. I wanted to keep washing my hands..🤗 the capsule coffee ☕️ machine in the room another premium touch. Also the thought to put an umbrella in each unit, which helped during the rain on the day we left. Beds were comfy with good room lighting. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and the grounds are well maintained.. would have loved to stay longer.. Indeed a special place. Would highly recommend it 👌

There were no poppadoms served with my lamb curry!! They had run out..

A stay so good we had to extend it. What they lack in sea views they compensate with great service. From the guy picking us up at the airport to reception to the porter to the ladies servicing the rooms, absolutely amazing. I cannot emphasize enough how great the service is here, you are simply the most valuable guest irrespective of race or gender; it's just so rare to be tended to at your earliest convenience. Tranquil, convenient, breakfast, atmosphere, the pools, the outdoor (flowers, the open field feeling), the staff (reception, waiters and room servicing ladies), oh did I mention the service is top tier? Size of the room, privacy of the room. Oh and free ironing service for guests with the option to request an iron to do it yourself if you dare lift a finger during your vacation. I really cannot fault them on anything, this place is absolutely exceptional. I will stay here again.

Nothing at all. 10 out of 10 for me. I saw in a review somewhere below that someone complained about the curtains, maybe they just didn't know how to operate them because we didn't have this issue at all, so if unsure or uncomfortable ask the reception ladies, they will sort you out instantly.

Absolutely loved everything about my stay at this fantastic resort!!! The staff made me feel at home with their warmth, hospitality and friendliness. Dane and his team went out of their way to help us with everything we needed. The apartments we stayed in were well decorated, super clean, and well laid out and made for a wonderful stay. The amenities in the resort met every need, and the swimming pools in the summer would be fantastic. The gardens were well maintained and added to the charm and character and made it a tranquil place to enjoy and relax. Location is excellent with everything needed within a few minutes drive. Overall a fantastic experience and I cannot wait to stay at this resort again! Well done Hollow Country Estate for an excellent experience!

Facility is really beautiful and peaceful, and nicely tucked away from the cbd. One can rest and recharge without needing anything from the outside. I had the balcony room where I could watch the birds in the evenings. My son and loved that he could get a bike from reception and ride around the property! I will definitely return.

Extra blanket or suitable winter duvet would have been a appreciated , considering there was no electric blanket. A little bit of variety on the restaurant menu would have been great. The shower took too long to warm up

It was a lovely 2 days spent with you. We particularly enjoyed your restaurant and the food. It’s great to be able to enjoy a glass of wine, and not to have to drive anywhere afterwards. The swimming pool was a most welcome addition in the hot weather.

We stayed in chalet number 18. While it was absolutely lovely, and well appointed, comfortable and gorgeous, there is a pool filter shed behind the room, and it made a sizeable noise all night. That is the ONLY complaint we had.

Breakfast excellent, very good location. Comfortable and lekker big bed.

we had a coffee and a smoke on the patio and the door closed and we were locked out, the card, phones etc. were in the room and its midnight. Nobody on duty, no security guy and no number displayed for emergency. we had to wake up our neighbor and she found on google an emergency number , finally somebody came and opened our door. An establishment of this kind should have a night duty person or at least a number for emergency displayed.!

We had an absolutely amazing time staying here. The grounds are quite incredible. The room itself was enormous, with all the amenities you'd expect along with a huge comfy bed. The on site restaurant is brilliant, to the extent you don't need to leave the site to eat if you don't want. The staff were the friendliest we'd met in a hotel and couldn't be faulted. Would highly recommend to anyone if in the area.

Aesthetically beautiful, clean and modern.

Wish the facilities had a generator for at least the lights in the room . The power was off for 4 hours and the little back up light does not last. Breakfast service on the first morning was also really poor , but got better the second day. Staff need to be more friendly and communicate delays when serving. The restaurant wasn’t full for breakfast so I’m not sure if the staff were just having a bad day but our waiter was below standard for the quality of the establishment.

What a surprise. The hotel is modern and beautiful with all required facilities. e.g. USB charging port, towel heating rack, slippers and gown. Everything and everywhere is clean and comfy. Breakfast is not too many but you can order from the kitchen. Staff is very friendly and helpful, location is perfect and close to the waterfront. Overall you can hardly find anything that you don't like and my family were quite happy there. Will definitely come back again.

This was a wonderful find. The staff was warm and kind. Our waiter at the hotel restaurant was amazing. He was funny and helpful. The food was very good. The hotel grounds were well kept. We have never seen so many stars in the sky.

The load shedding was unexpected. Although there was a schedule for when the daily load shedding would happen, we weren’t told right away. I was in the shower the first night we lost power. Not a big deal. Great hotel.
