Located in a prime position, it provides easy access to the city's must-see attractions, making it a great base for those interested in delving into Bratislava's rich history and culture. The spacious and comfortable rooms were a significant highlight of our stay. With its inviting design, it was a wonderful space to unwind after a long day of exploration. Additionally, the view of the interior patio with its serene garden added a touch of tranquility to our overall experience. The cleanliness standards of the hotel were praiseworthy, from the communal areas to our private room. Their dedication to maintaining a clean and inviting environment played a huge role in our overall satisfaction. We found the on-site parking to be very advantageous. This secure parking added an extra layer of convenience, particularly for those journeying by car.

Cons: Noise from the bar downstairs Stained carpet While our overall experience at Hotel Avance was largely positive, there were a couple of minor issues that could be improved. We did experience some noise from the bar downstairs, which could potentially disturb guests looking for a more peaceful evening atmosphere. Additionally, we noticed that the carpet in some communal areas had some stains. While the overall cleanliness of the hotel was commendable, paying a bit more attention to the carpet's condition would further enhance the comfort and satisfaction of guests. Despite these small issues, Hotel Avance still offers a fantastic stay for anyone visiting Bratislava.

This was our second stay at this hotel and it's still great! We arrived late in the day and were met at the front desk by a lovely, welcoming lady who checked us in quick. We think she changed our room from what we originally had--not many guests were staying at the hotel before Christmas and extra pillows we requested weren't there on the bed. However, when we told her on our way to dinner she quickly fulfilled our request! The room was very large. Window opened to let in fresh air. Bed was comfortable with great pillows. The bathroom was huge with a great shower with good water pressure and hot water. Breakfast was great with lots of different items. Eggs on request. This hotel is right next to a tram stop and it's an easy walk to all the main sites. We would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely perfect location, really clean, very comfortable beds and bedding. The breakfast was modest but constantly refreshed so it was never missing items for long. Both the room and the bathroom were a very generous size with nice toiletries and fresh clean towels, and high quality bedsheets.

The furnishings in our room were showing clear signs of age, with some worn out edges on the desks and TV stand. Two lampshades had water damage and near the entrance to the room were two bleach stains on the carpet. The air-conditioning was also a bit outdated as you can't set a precise temperature but on its lowest setting and highest strength it kept the room a very comfortable temperature.

The room was huge and had a huge bed which was very comfortable. I don't really care about the bed size being solo, but just wanted to state that for those who read this. Nice desk in the room for comfortable laptop use. Coffee maker and the coffee was very good. Very large TV, which I didn't use. Overall, very modern and seemingly new room. The location wasn't exactly where I prefer to stay but close enough that I could walk to the river easily and get to old town area fairly quickly. Price was a bit higher than I usually like to spend but the room was definitely worth the price. Air conditioning was great. The staff was also great, I had them call me a cab in the morning and they got me one quickly.

I'm their visitor for years. As usual, breakfast was very good. I really like it at all. Location also amazing. Room was again as usual very well prepared. I really like this hotel. What else to add? It is really beautiful hotel, really recommend.

I went there on electric car for the first time. I was shocked that on one side they are offering possibility to charge your car (what is very positive) but on other had the price was very high. Really do not understand why they are not supporting visitors who are not polluting their city. This is really area which they should improve!!!

The location was definitely the highlight of the hotel. Just a couple of minutes walk away from the Old Town and a few minutes from the Most SNP (Bridge) which takes you across the river. The room was comfortable and quite spacious, and the hotel staff were very accommodating.

The breakfast selection was on the smaller side but it was still very good. My only suggestion is offering plant-based milk.

The hotel is at a rather good location. Easy to access, still central. Trams and buses stop rather close, most of the inner city is well within walking distance. The reception staff was extremely polite and helpful in figuring out how to get around, and they did assist us in getting our cars parked in the rather narrow underground parking. The rooms were well-proportioned, clean, and generally in a good shape, the bed was comfortable, and the WiFi worked perfectly. The breakfast was pretty good - while not a perfect full English, it was pretty close to that, with good variety and tasty food.

Parking is a tad bit difficult to access. The road in front of the hotel has roadside parking that makes turning onto the rather narrow elevator somewhat more difficult, and it does not get any less narrow once you are underground, so if driving a bigger car, you will need to take care. Coffee was below average, I would have loved a good espresso in the morning.

The hotel is in a very good location. Underground parking for cars. Breakfast is also ok. Nice staff.

The water had to run in the bath for 10-15 minutes before lukewarm water started to flow. Is there no internal circulation in the house? In room 112, the LED under the shelf on the right side of the bed is not good. The desk lamp does not work on the bed on the left. In the bathroom, the 230 Volt is only in the drawer of the hair dryer.

Breakfast is great and large. You can get real coffee instead of basic hotel coffee. Location is perfect, very close to the main square and shopping street. Public transport is also close. Bed was comfortable.

The garage is very tight, so it's hard manoeuvring with large car, however parking lot in front of the hotel can be reserved or the parking house is in walking distance. If you use it you get a discount from the hotel and you can pay at the hotel.

I really appreciated the room being available when I arrived off the boat from Vienna at 10am. Also a comfortable large room with a great location for exploring the sites of the Old Town.

Only small criticisms would be WiFi was a bit patchy in my room, the door didn't lock from inside and the buffet breakfast was a litter uninspiring.
