Dar Al Hijra InterContinental

Staff was super attentive and helpful right from entering the hotel. I booked the Royal Suite, which was a 4-bedroom apartment with 6 beds in total. Each room had its own private washroom and shower. There was lots of space in the suite and it came with a kitchen, living room, and dining area. Was very close to the mosque (about a 5 min walk). Overall, very happy with the accommodations and included breakfast (lots of variety and super tasty). Will be booking again in the future.

We stayed on the 7th , room was very clean and house keeping kept on top of cleaning. If we ran out of something or, needed anything we simply dialled 0 and they brought it up to us. The management team would call us daily to check how our stay was and if we needed anything. There was always an ample supply of bottled water, clean towels, toiletries and tea/coffee and milk. Breakfast was good value, My brother is a big eater and would go up thirds and fourth helpings. Location to Masjid Al Nabwi was excellent, literally a 3 minute walk from the door step of the hotel to the mosque. I think the most notable and praiseworthy thing was the friendliness and politeness of all the staff who made our staff all the more memorable. And they all spoke English. I would highly recommend this hotel with out any reservation.

The only negative thing I experienced when booking my hotel was the service I got from Booking.com, which wasn't very good. I had a few questions about making the payment and the Booking.com staff were very unhelpful, who couldn't speak clear English, communicate clearly or return promised calls. I would recommend booking direct if you can.

Location, hospitality, cleanliness, breakfast, staff, atmosphere and everything we absolutely perfect.

We liked everything.

Excellent location, close to Masjid approx 3-4 min walk, and also very close to money exchange, Taiba shopping centre and numerous stalls outside which serve food/snacks/desserts from all over the world. Closest gate is gate 20/21 and short walk way, and also close to women's entrance. Room was kept clean throughout, staff were attentive and helpful and helped to solve any issues we had. Breakfast was good, good selection of items and fresh, and not too busy. Room cleaners were extremely friendly and attentive and a credit to the hotel.

Hotel is quite dated, they are planning upgrading soon. We had issues with our room initially as it was noisy however hotel did change this quite quickly and were helpful. One negative was the room was not very well lit at all, this could be improved. Lifts were OK, occasionally they became busy.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very good and friendly staff, from check-in to cleaners (Mr Awlad) to Head of Concierge (Mr Abdul Hameed). Great breakfast variety, and very attentive staff at breakfast. Clean rooms and other areas in general. Perfect for Umrah stay, steps away from Masjid-e-Nabwi. Would definitely stay here again.

Room may feel outdated, we had one socket not working with the big room lamp, so at times, room was dark, and some bits coming off here and there. But the hotel is aware of this, and there are plans for upgrading the hotel this year, the new projected looks are promising.

Very comfortable stay. Neat & Clean, Location, helpful staff, breakfast etc.. all outstanding. Reception team was welcoming and supported check-in/check-out quickly. Special mention to Tariq Al Harbi from Restaurant Team for his amazing service. House keeping team was also outstanding. Overall Excellent

It was an amazing experience, the rooms were spacious and breakfast was delicious with so many choices everyday! The location is good (which I was worried before coming), it took 2-3 minutes (with a baby and a toddler) by walking to enter the masjid gate, never felt like an issue. I can't say enough good things about the entire staff, they were very helpful throughout our stay. After having a super long flight to Madina, it felt great to relax and unwind and enjoy the stay and praying at the haram. Would happily recommend this place for anyone looking for a place to stay in Madina.

Can't name anything I didn't like!

We had a wonderful stay at Dar Al Hijra ICH. The hospitality was second to none. A special thanks to all the staff right through from reception, door men, concierge, room cleaning, breakfast staff to luggage assistance. We were always greeted with beautiful smiles and warmly welcomed. The hotel is perfectly located just a few minutes walk to the Prophet (saw) mosque. There are lots of nice food places outside and shops just outside. The breakfast had lots of variety and everything was beautifully cooked. Our room was upgraded to a beautiful suite which was amazing. I would highly recommend staying at Dar Al Hijra. I’ve been fortunate enough to stay at some amazing hotels but what always stands out is the people who work at these hotels. ❤️

I couldn’t fault anything.

There are many.. - Staff behavior, smiling welcoming faces from reception to Room Service to On call staff etc. Specially Moyed from reception who processed our checkin needs special thanks for his cooperation and assistance. Secondly the room sercive guy named Awlad has been so helpful and made us feel life home when it comes to cleaning our suite. - Cleanliness is superb. - Fast elevators and available all the time. I have been a regular visitor to Madina and have been staying in multiple 8+ ranked hotels.. so far this has been one of my best stays in Madina and looking forward for next (But little more discount and upgrades)..

Nothing much but since everything was perfect so following can be take care of to get them out of the negative list.. - Breakfast items are not less but limited.. Can add more items to it.. - Exterior/elevation of the building needs a cleaning to more attract visitors as I have been seeing it like this since multiple years which does not complement A class interior of the building.
