Value Hotel Balestier

The hotel staff were accomodating and friendly. The room is small but for a traveller, it is alright as we wont be staying in the room for a long time. It is clean though. There is a nice coffee shop beside it where you can get a quick coffee fix and nice kaya toast. There is a convenient store beside that is accessible 24 hrs. In front of the hotel is a bus stop so it's veey convenient. A lot of establishments are closely including the Makan Market where you will find famous Michellin stars awardee food joints.

The rooms are small but functional. The walls are thin and you can actually hear the activities in the other rooms including strong snoring.

For people who spend most of their time outside to explore Singapore, Value Hotel Balestier is a good choice. The hotel provides comfortable bed, warm water and basic personal care. Rooms are cleaned up daily. A lot of eatery around. Bus stop is just in front of the hotel, makes your travel so easy. Right value for money!

Facility is a bit dated

Great location go anywhere by bus stop front the hotel (bus no.124,130,145 ) not need mrt Ease for food , ease for convenient store Cafe under the hotel so amazing

The room size was totally exceed my expectation. Usually the room in budget hotel in Singapore was really small, bed only without anymore space. However the room was big enough for that price, Wi-Fi was working really well, cleanliness also was great, along with the hot water to enjoy the shower. Love the location, in front of the hotel got bus stop that can directly go to Orchard/ Harbour Front (124) and some other buses like 139 and 145. Next to the hotel got mini market and breakfast place (really side by side!) We checked in D-1 before new year, and the staff was really helpful. Kuddos to the receptionist for working hard during new year celebration.

Cannot think of any. I personally think everything was okay. All convenient!

-location is good, though you need to take bus to mrt station however, the hotel has a bus stop right in front which have good links to orchard/chinatown/bayfront area -staff members were very accomodating to our requests -the hotel rooms we stayed in did not have windows, toilet is small but for good enough for sleeping/staying overnight

-the first room we had was quite dirty -no extra space for a table -the boiler seems old

It is an really amazing hotel! Omg they are so sweet and the service is over the top! John and Ken, so sweet! Because i need the balcony, they found out a very good Price with the very deluxe room with their sister hotel on the 18. Floor, with the biggest balcony ever and the View you Can Only Dream about! And John, the manager Follow us all the Way to our taxi! I Can Only recommend This hotel in every Way! And Ken so Fantastic!👍🏻🫶🏻🌍🏝☀️☀️☀️☀️

Value for money, staff was very helpful. 24/7 reception. Prompt in response. Rooms with windows are better. As this is old building hence do not expect very fancy stuff. However, price and value is good.

Rooms with no windows had damp smell and ants on the middle tables. However when we switched to the rooms with windows they were better and had electronic safe boxes as well.

I like the staff and the location near a convenience store. The room is cleaned every day and the refill of water and shower necessities, we like it. The location is nice. There is a bus stop outside the hotel

the aircon was okay but it took an hour before it cooled. And we can't control the temperature of it. Also, the iron for clothes, heat is not consistent

The location is near everything! There are stores and restaurants near the hotel. The bus stop is just steps away from the hotel.

Since it is near the bus stop and a main road, you are not allowed to hop in and out of the grab cars or taxis. You must go to the back part of the hotel which is confusing because there are no signs or indicators that it is for Value hotel.

The Location of the Hotel is perfect !! Just outside the Hotel there is a bus Stop and we can hop onto it to travel across Singapore and nearest MRT Stations (Novena and Newton). Also, many departmental stores nearby for daily need shopping and 24 hour Restaurant serving good food also just few steps away. Location of the hotel exceeded my expectation.

There was no staff to assist with heavy luggages from lobby to our rooms.
