This enchanting privately owned accommodation nestles in the heart of pure nature, offering breathtaking views, yet it's astonishingly only a minute's walk from the town center. The property exudes authenticity, from its meticulously preserved historic exterior to the charming interior design, transporting guests back in time. The inclusion of a swimming pool adds a modern touch of luxury, while the presence of majestic peafowl wandering the grounds lends an almost surreal beauty to the setting. Guests are treated to the epitome of hospitality here, akin to the warmth and generosity reserved for royalty, making each stay feel like a chapter from a fairy tale. The breakfast, included in the stay, showcases the best of local cuisine—fresh, flavorful, and a delightful start to the day. The host’s unparalleled availability and responsiveness enhance the experience further; their exquisite recommendations and deep understanding of fine dining elevate the culinary journey for every guest. The minimal sound and thermal insulation (despite sufficient heating) is a natural consequence of the building's historic character, preserving its authentic essence. A special note: While the attached pictures showcase the winter's stark beauty, one can only dream of the magic that other seasons bring to this picturesque haven. Whether it’s the vibrant blooms of spring, the lush greenery of summer, or the rich hues of autumn, this place promises a captivating backdrop year-round.
There was nothing that we did not like, not just because the listing and pictures were accurate.

Everything about this property was amazing. Beautiful grounds to explore and loved the resident peacock!!! He did several shows for us, which was fun to watch! Nuno was above and beyond helpful with tips for site seeing, restaurants (all very very delicious!) and when our air conditioner didn’t work I messaged in WhatsApp and he was there in less than 2 minutes to fix it! The room was unique and had touches of modern mixed with the old property. Breakfast was delicious as well! Well stocked refrigerator with everything you need too! Best place we stayed on our entire trip to Portugal!!! It was close to all the sites via Uber and lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance (many less then 5 minutes). I can’t say enough about the people that work there (especially Nuno!!).
That we couldn’t stay longer!!!

The grounds were picture-perfect and well taken care of. Our party felt the rooms were larger than we expected and comfortable. It was a close walk to Sintra National Palace and in that regard, conveniently located. We especially loved the breakfast service and were delighted to see a peacock on the grounds pass by our window as we had our meal. The staff was very helpful in arranging our transport to Humberto Delgado Airport early in the morning and it made our trip much smoother.
The location is very difficult to find. The hotel made an effort to explain that the location was difficult to find over email, even so, it is inconvenient to take ride-share services to this location without reviewing it carefully first.

The property itself looks like one of Sintra's attractions with its historical building complex. The outside offers views of the Moorish Castle and the National Palace. Everything is green and blooming, even in December. The territory is quiet and conveniently located just a few minutes walk from the center. We had a superior room, which was very cozy and appeared like a tiny house, featuring decent beds and a cute little living room with a minibar. The bedroom and restroom were separated by proper closing doors. The terrace was in a common area but still felt private. Breakfast was served until 11:00, allowing us to sleep in, and there were breakfast options available even after that. It was undoubtedly a 5-star breakfast with fresh, top-quality products. It's possible to order eggs to your preference, and they were absolutely delicious. Perhaps we were fortunate due to catching off-season prices: we received ridiculously good value for our money here. The staff was highly professional and helpful. When we had trouble finding a restaurant for our Christmas dinner, they showed a lot of perseverance on this matter. Also, an ironing board and an iron could be provided upon request, wich was such a relief, because I really hate people ironing my things. All in all I think it would be impossible to find such a great place featuring all the the things we had: perfect breakfast, views, terrace, separate rooms, value of money, location, 24h 5-star service.
The heating in our bathroom was not sufficient, but we were provided with a portable heater. The bed linens were of great quality wich unfortunately I couldn’t say about the filling and the mattress but it was still sleapable.

This is a cute little oasis in town, close to everything. Ahmed was super helpful, booked us a taxi to pena palace which cost a bit more than the bus for two people but worth it for the early rainy morning. The breakfast was decent, not amazing. The room itself was quite nice and extremely spacious
The property itself is a little bit hard to find but if you call, they can direct well. Would be good to have directions and the code to the door ahead of time in case people don’t have service. Our biggest complaint was that we were on the ground floor and we could hear the room above us until 1am. It is not very sound proof if you have noisy neighbors but the area itself is very quiet

This is a beautiful property, centrally located for a visit to Sintra. Staff is friendly, helpful & professional. The rooms are very well appointed & spacious. The grounds are spread over large area & include secure parking. Everything is perfectly maintained. Breakfast is served in an elegant dining room & offers generous selections. It's a pleasant walk to the Palacio National de Sintra where you also have great choice of restaurants. It's an easy walk to bus station to catch local bus to visit other sites. Highly recommend enjoying a stay here!
Nothing! It can be difficult to navigate driving there the first time but that's not the fault of the hotel & once you park at hotel you don't need your car until you leave.

We were upgraded to the Princess Margaret Suite, it was very comfortable and well-furnished. Breakfast was good, it was nice to sit on the terrace for it. The pool was great, and the American barman there was very helpful and interesting to talk to. We wandered in the grounds, parts of which are gardened and parts left natural. It was a short but hilly walk to the town centre, restaurants, sites of interest etc. The restaurants we were recommended by the hotel were good (there isn’t one at the hotel but they are only a short walk away.) The rooms were in a separate wing from the house, we had our own outdoor terrace to sit on. I think the main building is mainly for functions etc. The Palace in the middle of Sintra was very good - a lot to take in - amazing architecture, lots of history, and best of all hardly anyone there! We had thought mid-October would be quieter but everywhere was very busy.
We enjoyed our stay and would return. The bathroom in our suite was very good, but there was a second one that led directly off the sitting room with no door to it, which seemed odd. The main one definitely had a door though!

The property is in a wonderful location with views to the National Palace of Sintra and Castelo dos Mouros. It was close to the station for buses to the palaces. It was great having on site parking. Staff were extremely helpful and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Breakfast was plentiful, with a good selection and delicious especially the great bread. Staff we happy to make restaurant recommendations and reservations.
The rooms were a little tired. We would have appreciated a bench or similar to use for our open suitcases. It is no fun scrabbling around on the floor in your suitcase. We had no coat hangers and even if we had the rail in the robe needed a ladder to reach it

The villa and its gardens are so genuinely beautiful amd charming given its historical heritage! We were updated to the Royal Suite and if you sleep with the windows open, you will be awaked in the morning by the smell of freshly baked pastel de nata, which was the BEST I have tried during our 2 weeks holiday in Lisbon-Algarve-Sintra, above all - the flavour, can’t explain. It was like that desert everyone makes but there are those mothers/grandmothers that have a secret for the recipe and it just makes the whole difference. The breakfast was delicious, that type of homemade food. Crystal clean rooms. Wonderful, definitely a must to come back.
Nothing!

If you’re coming to Sintra, you are probably coming to see the palaces. So why not stay in a place that feels like a palace? I felt like royalty staying here! My room was HUGE and gorgeous! It’s a beautiful place and the staff are friendly and helpful. The bed was comfy, it was quiet, and the breakfast buffet was good. The WiFi was great (I worked some while here and had no issues with Zoom calls, etc.). Each room has its own connection which was perfect. When I booked, I wasn’t sure if I was going to have a rental car or not — I ended up taking the train — but it’s ideal either way. If you drive, there’s plenty of parking and if you take a train, it’s a short walk to the train station.
I couldn’t find the pool, lol. No worries - I didn’t have time to swim anyway - so I didn’t bother asking for directions. Just wanted to take a picture.
