Pollera

A very pleasant hotel in classical style. Very friendly staff. Rooms are nice with a modern bathroom/shower. You can open your windows! The staircase has beautiful stained glass windows. Good buffet-breakfast, but it's notl always included. All is available bthat Europeans and North Americans could expect. However: if you want pancakes: no, this is Poland. Go to Holland for pancakes ;-) The location is superb, 3 minutes to the most beautiful market Square in Europr, 6 min. walking distance to the trainstation, which is located inside a large shopping mall. The old station looks good but that's not the place trains stop. Krakow is wonderful. Do as I did: spend an extra night!

We stayed in one of the apartments that are next to the hotel. Breakfast was fabulous, and also had generous vegan options. Beds were clean, lots of cookware etc., complimentary coffee pods, very clean, amazing location just in the city centre. The bathroom was nice, with a shower, a bathtub, and lots of complimentary shampoo etc.

The apartment was located on the second floor without a lift (we knew that when we booked). I believe the apartment description says there are two bedrooms, which we were counting on, however one of those "rooms" is in fact just a small "separate" area with a double bed (no door or anything) so there is no privacy. Also, there are no power sockets close to that bed.

Good location between central station and the old city. Mostly clean. Helpful staff. It is decorated in 19th century style, did not expect that but it is nice for a change.

No AC. Beds not the great, but not terrible either. The shelf in the badroom on which the glasses where should have been dusted. Room is not soundproof, we heard people on the hallway in the middle of the night (fortunately only one noisy guest).

Hotel Poller dates back to 1839, and it retains its nineteenth century charm. If you are looking for a taste of historic Krakow that also has modern bonuses like parking, look no further than Hotel Pollera. Also, the staff were very helpful and gave us directions to the historical places of interest,

Hotel Pollera is an excellent hotel in a great location. Perhaps it wouldn't be the best choice for travellers who are looking for ultra-modern accommodation with swimming pools or saunas, but for comfort, location in the historic center, and charm, it is the best.

Very clean room and renovated bathroom Location Nice style

Approx 10-min walk from the station set on a gorgeous street, you step out the door into the city. The staff greeting very friendly and extremely helpful (Katherine and the guy) and good humour. The bathroom was new and the bed very comfortable and bedding was good quality and new. The WiFi worked very well in the room, and there was small kettle to make tea. I wanted to be in the centre close to everything so felt it offered good value.

I didn’t use any of the other facilities or have breakfast, so I cant review that. The hotel is a little tired looking in places as some of the room furniture too, including the rug in the room.

I love the feel of this old classic European hotel…and why I picked it. Good value, affordable. The location was perfect, just 10 minutes walking to old town square, with lots of the cafés and shops nearby. Very close to Planty Park for nice walks. The room was large, and sunny with two windows, again, with the classic old European feel… With a very modern bathroom. Comfortable beds and pillows, and very quiet. Room was spacious comfortable, warm and inviting -Made it hard to leave in the morning! I could’ve stayed, sipped tea and enjoyed the room! breakfast was huge buffet and great!

The location for the property is fantastic and the staff is very friendly. We were there for a little over a week and at one point requested to change rooms. Our first room was facing the street and very noisy at night. I wasn’t going to make it the rest of our trip if I had to stay they. The staff was very helpful and we were able to move to a new room as soon as it was available.

The bed mattress in both rooms were very uncomfortable for me. I am a picky sleeper though.

The staff (polite, friendly and very efficient - well done folks), location and ambiance of the hotel and its surroundings.

I am use to a firm comfy bed and sadly the single bed mattress that I slept on for 3 nights was less than ideal. The pillow was also very soft and so compressed completely when I laid down to sleep. It would help future customers if an alternative firmness pillow was made available in the room. I would suggest that the mattress needs to be changed to assist the more 'mature' guests that have back problems. For some reason my room (unlike my friend's room) did not have any tea/coffee making facilities - I therefore had to ask reception for a kettle and tea bags...items that were very quickly provided. Other that the above items, the room was more than adequate for my needs.
