Best Western Plus Krakow Old Town

Breakfast was super. Its THE BEST breakfast buffet out of all places I ever stayed. Really wide choice of dishes and everything was really tasty. Room and facilities were great too. Everything was new and clean. Receptionists were super nice and helpful. Check in and check out was very fast and friendly. Thank you. I will sure stay there again when in Krakow.

very central to old town

the lifts you have to go up then down stairs to your room. but this is because it’s an old building

The location is excellent, just on the edge pf the old town, with a tramline practically outside the door and another multi line tram stop within 5 minutes walk. Also easy to get to the main train station via tram, so approx 40 minutes to the airport. The room was comfortable, the bathroom compact but clean and the towels of good quality. We booked b&b, the food was tasty and there was a good variety. The staff were friendly and helpful.

There was a gap at the bottom of the bathroom door, leading to the bedroom, don't know what that was about but it bugged me a bit so I blocked it with a towel.

There were no bathrobes and slippers in the bathroom

First things first: The location is just perfect. A short walk from the Old Town and the Wawel Castle with many restaurants around to chose from and a small grocery shop next door. The hotel itself is cozy, the room is spacious and clean as the toilet. There is a heater inside the toilet, very necessary during the winter! The breakfast is enough to keep you fed until the lunch time.

We arrived very early at the hotel -around 4am- and we requested some assistance to the receptionist regarding money as we wanted to tip the taxi driver. The guy was not friendly and helpful at all. It was not a good first impression. The breakfast is not bad, but they serve the same thing every day. For us was a little bit boring after de second day as we stayed for 4 nights. Also, if you come late you won`t find everything as they don`t replace some items after they finish.

Excellent Location! Really easy to walk into all areas! Also most of the tours we booked collected and returned us straight to the hotel. Rooms are a good size with a very good shower. Staff were always present and very helpful. The gentleman whom works for the hotel as a Taxi driver was very helpful and gave us good local resturant recommendations.

Only a minor thing but I didn't sleep very well. The beds were slightly too firm for me. My parents were staying at the front of the hotel and were sometimes woken by the trams outside the hotel but that couldn't be helped.

Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble, from extra pillows, booking an airport taxi, helping with the heating - even asking for bigger mugs for a good British cup of tea. Breakfast was fantastic and great selection. We had an early flight and without asking, the hotel made us a breakfast packed up to take with us which was such a nice touch and really appreciated. The location was ideal for exploring and easy to find. Room was modern, spacious and warm. We ate one night in the hotel bar and the food was simple but reasonably priced and tasty. Thank you for a brilliant first visit to Krakow. We will be back!

The breakfast was amazing. The variety of food was overwhelming. The location was great as the Old Town Market Square was a short walk. Our room was huge and had a modern design. It was very comfortable. We were assigned a room off the main road so it was quiet. We were very pleased with our stay.

My main complaint was that there was no elevator to our room. We took the elevator to the first floor and then walk and climb several steps to our room. The room was amazing, so it was only a problem when we had our luggage. The room was worth the effort.

The staff could not be more helpful and friendly , location was absolutely brillant, breakfast decent, hotel spotless liked how we didn't have to chase for towels etc room was done every morning and clean towels and bottled water fridge in room excellent kept water lovely and cold

Bar was very small but its so close to old town where there are sooooo many bars wasent an issue seats uncomfortable but cool to look at need more pillows for bed for sure but am sure if we asked they probably would have got us more

Firstly, the location. You cannot fault it! You're very central and a very short walk into the center of the old town. There is also a convenience store very close by too. The hotel was very nice. Clean, modern and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very good and mixed local polish cuisine with typical Western breakfast buffet foods to provide a really large selection of choices. It was constantly replenished by attentive staff too. I would definitely make this my first choice for staying in Kraków!
