Hotel Renate

Very clean, comfy, big rooms, they even have water heater for the coffee, ref, own balconies, etc.. Even the staff were very friendly and super helpful with everything! You can consider it a “real” hotel. worth more than what you paid. the only thing is that they dont serve foods, but they lend us their grill and cooking utensils and utensils for eating. it was no problem at all because , there are many food outlets outside of the hotel. we had an excellent stay and my family was very satisfied and happy!

bit of a walk to the beach, esp if you have kids or senior citizens. but it’s ok, you can rent a motorcyle or just ride a tribike/cab. hopefully soon, they’ll also serve their own foods.

A great little place that's set in small garden surroundings, peaceful and quiet, yet is only a 5-7 minutes walk and away from the noise and chaos of Alona Beach. The staff here are amazing, friendly and super helpful. Each room has its own little terrace, comes with cable TV, AC, hot shower and the all important coffee making facilities. The mini bar prices were also very reasonable which I appreciated. I absolutely would and will rebook Hotel Renate for my next trip to Panglao.

The rooms were spotless, very comfortable, nicely decorated and the bathroom had a very powerful hot shower. There was a mini bar we could buy snacks from in our room which was great and a lovely balcony with a fan. However, best of all was the staff, in particular the owner who was helpful, welcoming and took us to a local Rock concert in the middle of the island. If you are lucky enough to stay here when there is another concert on be sure to go! Overall was a great stay and we wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you!

Nothing, it was brilliant

The staff were extremely helpful in helping us booking tours and bikes to rent. The hotel was in a great location and very easy to access. Lots of good places to eat nearby. We loved our room upstairs and it felt private. Our room was cleaned on request, air con was very good. Water was provided for us daily too.

Would highly recommend has everything you need and the staff are amazing. Great set up and would stay here again if we travel to a Panglao. Nice and private room with outside balcony area.

Was a bit hard to find and our tuk tuk driver struggled to find this too as it was late in the evening and we couldn’t see the sign in the dark. About a 10 minute walk to the centre of Panglao have to walk along the main road which can be quite dangerous with some of the driving.

very clean and specious rooms in a well maintained garden. We especially liked the small terrace in front of our room that was even equipped with a fan. since internet connection is also really good this was a nice spot to get some work done and plan the next part od our trip. Staff is very kind. location is a short walk from the beach just outside the noise from the main street

Comfy room, super green all around, useful and friendly staff! The only place in the Philippines where the wifi worked perfectly! 10 mins walking to the beach. Beautiful own terrace in the room!

I would suggest to change the pillows, as they look more like sofa ones. it’s the only thing I didn’t really appreciate. The rest was amazing!

Everything. Can't fault anything about Hotel Renate. Good size room with a working TV, complimentary tea coffee & kettle in the room, Aircon, comfortable beds, warm powerful shower, good amount of privacy, the list goes on. Would definitely recommend staying here & if the Rock concert is on definitely go with the hotel. You'll love it.

Everything! Owner and staff are so friendly. Garden area is beautiful. Rooms are clean and modern with great AC and wifi. We loved the balcony - even has a fan! Location is perfect - quiet but can walk to the beach/restaurants in 10 minutes. They arranged our scooter and trike back to the port for us. Really recommend staying here!

spacious clean rooms, towels and bedsheets get changed after every couple of days, free water and instant coffee in the room, nice hot shower with good water pressure, lovely balcony and really nice garden, staff is welcoming and very helpful, location is quiet and about 5 minute walk to different cafes and restaurants

there’s nothing not to like!
