Bohol Beach Club

Loved the singer on the weekend during our stay. Pool was warm and still open at night for a night swim. Love the hospitality of the servers at the restaurant. I like the individual clothes rack provided to each room - very useful with drying out wet clothes and towels.

I booked 2 rooms and made it clear beforehand months before the arrival that we are 5 pax which I paid on top of the original booking. However, upon our arrival and explaining the case (which was also confirmed weeks before our arrival by one of their staff via booking.com messaging), they only provided amenities for 4 pax and had to request additional items for the 5th person every day after housekeeping was done (we stayed 3x nights).

Staff is friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and spacious, hot water pressure is good, beds are nice. Food is one of the best I ever tried in the Philippines' hotels, and they even have a wine list! Territory is ample and well maintained, beach is clean and white and mostly smooth, snorkeling is available right off the beach during high tide. All that at a very reasonable price. As an added bonus, booking.com staff handled the glitch we had with the reservation professionally and efficiently.

With all that great things I just said about this hotel, the sea is a great disappointment. It is not swimmable at all. The max depth in the area fenced with buoys is between one feet during low tide and 4 feet during high tide. Seems perfect for small kids - but not exactly, the sea bottom is not really kids friendly with rocks right at the water edge. After this it does have a pretty wide stripe of white sand, however, for about 100 feet or so. But after it corals and seaweed start, with corresponding fauna. Another minus for people, whose idea of having rest does not include getting up with the Sun, is the abundance of sparrows, who start tweeting en masse quite loudly right before the sunrise and continue for hours.

I like how it’s very accessible for people with disabilities where I brought my mom there had trouble walking to spend more time with her and she did n’t have problem going to the beach. I love the direct access to the beach and you enjoy the outdoor a lot. What really makes BBC special is the privacy where it’s less crowded or noise, you can really talk with your companion and the openness of the restaurant, the beach is just right in front it no need to worry about social distancing. Plus all the staffs are very pleasant and respectful.

There should be a shuttle to Alona, even if it’s just once every few hours.

quiet location spacious resort . beach is stunning with lagoon for swimming max depth 5ft . staff are super friendly , Victor ,Ariel ,Mhe the best . we dived for 2 days Alan our dive master was excellent we did a refresher on the reef then second day did 3 amazing days and saw loads of turtles . tuk tuk available to go to Alona beach in eve . and the best buy the bed was huge the best sleep and relaxation , nice dark rooms too

breakfast we would be there for 830am felt like it was not topped up . omelette was nice but fruit and fruit juice would be empty at this time . wider selection needed . umbrellas needed on the beach like the pool area

If I Was given a guarantee that I would be able to get the beachfront cottages I would have opted to stay there but staff can’t give me what I was asking even if it was the last two rooms available they can’t answer my question which room was I am getting which doesn’t make sense since you are down to the last two rooms you can’t even tell me what room number that I am booking. But anyway I hope next time I will get the answer I am looking for.

The beach within the grounds of BBC are very well maintained compared to the neighbouring resorts. The grounds were constantly cleaned. There are enough sunbeds around the pool and beach area and fresh beach towels are at your disposal every day. The staff ensures that the guests gets a very good experience during the stay. Every night, they also offer very good entertainment while having dinner.

There is nothing not to like about this property. Everything was clean, rooms are spotless, and staff are very courteous. The breakfast selection was also plentiful. Food at the restaurant are reasonably priced and are served in good portions and high quality.

We had a very comfortable stay. Facilities were as we expected. Restaurant had a good selection on the menu and reasonably priced. Pool was good, and the beach is continually patrolled by the hotel's security team. The warmth and the friendliness of the staff who were also willing to go the extra mile to assist us takes our rating off the charts. We loved everything about Bohol Beach CLub. Honestly one of the best resorts and beach clubs on the island. The staff were ALL very helpful, going out of their way to help us in everything. We were so impressed because it felt like they really prioritise their guests' needs and comfort. We love their Aquasports located in the resort - the diving master Kuya Allan was amazing, and we 100% enjoyed our time with him! The in-house restaurant is also amazing, the food was fantastic. We couldn't fault it, and will definitely go back in a heartbeat.

None except the unfortunate fact that it was pretty much raining most times when we visited!
